I am so happy. I checked my PayPal and received payment for my square I send in. I also received payment for the affiliates. They are very quick at paying. I have been so busy and have had visitors at my place the whole week so had no time to sit on the internet. Anyway just cannot wait to start latch hooking again.

If anyone has any questions. You may PM me or post to the board. I have also written to the company about a few questions that I needed answered and they are very quick at responding.

Have a great New Year Ladies!

Great to hear! Yes, they have answered a ton of questions and are very very prompt! I'm looking forward to sending in my big rug as soon as I complete. With the holidays I did not have the normal time to put into it!

When you get your next rug you'll get the sheet back with your rating. They are very willing to work with you and unlike other crafing companies, they pay you regardless, there aren't any rigid inspection guidelines! It's great!

That's great!!!

Do any of you know if they will offer any other designs other than the one listed on their site?

Just curious,

Angela

Yes, I was wondering if they will branch out to other designs, styles, to offer a variety. Also, does anyone know how long it takes to get to the status in order to be reimbursed for the original registration fee?

I posted this on another thread as someone else asked this as well and this was their response:
Presently the Black & Golddesign is the only rug design we are offering, however we are working on anew Islamicdesign
that will be sold by Azara Design & Gifts up & comingout of Atlanta, Ga. This will not be an exclusive, therefore we are hoping to make it available for online sales as well. Our main goal at this point is to ensure that our production is in line with our sales.

As for the top pay, it states it on the site, I believe once you are past training, which depends on your experience. I only sent in my first squares and then was given a complete rug w/center section and 4 corners to do.

Here's the page where it states the pay levels:

Hope that helps!

Hi craftygal,

Thank you for the information. I have one more question Do they send you a 1099 for taxes?

Thanks,

Angela

Angela,

I emailed them to make sure before I answered and here is their response:
Your full registration fee pays for all the supplies you will everneed. This islisted as a sales...taxable for us. When you return the completed product (with increased value) it is counted as apurchase and listed as an expense...deductible for us. If you are earning money under the referral program you will want to keep track of your earnings, as well as any expenses. I usually leave the tax stuff up to the professionals, however I'm sure that depending on however you file, you woud be able to have deductible expenses as an independent contractor.
