Colin,

Don't be worried. It does take quite a bit of time. It took 18 days for my first project from when I first sent it in until I received my next one. You do have to have patience with this company. lol.....I am hopeing things are going to speed up soon, but I just wanted to let you know there is some waiting time involved. I don't know when you sent your project back but I'm sure you will hear something soon. They send an email when your money is in your paypal account and then your next project usually comes that next week.

This waiting thing was very new to me, and I am trying to get more patience in the waiting area. lol........My other business that I do full time, their shipping is 3 days, so I was not ready for 18 days with this. lol......I am learning to wait though. lol....I'm not really doing the rugs for a business though like I do the candles, so I'm not as worried, but I do like to work on the rugs at night while watching TV. Good luck to you!

Here is the email

The following is an email sent to you by an administrator of "New

Include this full email (particularly the headers).

Message sent to you follows:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
On March 18, 2007 we will stop taking orders from our main site and all affiliate sites.
In
an attempt to get all present work orders processed and caught up, we
will cease taking any further orders for the next 30 to 45 days. In
the next 45 days the following will occur:
Our main site will
cease taking orders, while we implement a new program. Only our
present workers and those that join before March 18th will be able to
access the best of both programs. As an affiliate if you have someone
you’d like to join, be sure to have them join before March 18th.
All
affiliate sites will cease taking orders. If your Latch Hook
registration is paid in full (under whichever program you came in
under) and you are one of the 30 affiliates that paid ($15.00) for
your affiliate e-book customization fee, you will be reimbursed, plus
received a $15.00 bonus for participating in our affiliate program.
Please be sure to notify Gloria, if you meet this criteria.
Our new affiliate program will be run though click bank once our site is updated.
We
will no longer offer a Shipping Program and all 5 Shippers will receive
program. Please be sure to notify Gloria, if you meet this criteria.
Thank you,
B. Lafferty
From what it sounds like to me, the refund is only for shipping positions since they are discontinuing that position.
If you are already signed up, this would not affect you, they just aren't going to accept more workers after March 18th until they get caught up.
Hope that helps
Hi Craftygal..thanks for the reply...
Craftygal I wanted to let you know that I signed up under you to get started with the latch hook and I sent in my first latch hook in about almost 1 week and a couple of days and I haven't received anything back from them yet?Is that normal?I mean does it really take them that long to check out how we did on our training?I am also starting to get worried here.And also I was wondering why don't they have a phone number where we can call them if we have any questions or need help with anything?????
Hanna
Hi Hanna,
The company does not have a phone number as they are a small company I assume and they just started this latch hooking through the internet I think in Dec. so the only way you can get hold of them is through email. They do respond quickly and if not by the second day they suggest sending another email stating that this is the second email by the heading section.
They are backlogged on the orders because so many people have joined. So be patient and you will receive your square soon. Send them an email to find out if they received your square. I am also still waiting for my next ug and it has been over a week.
Another thing. Most of the questions have been answered on the forum they have created. Here is the link
HI Hanna,
Not to worry, they are really trying to get caught up. They just made an announcement that they aren't taking new workers after March 18th until they get caught up on what they have.
You'll get an email notifying you of payment and then your next project will be shipped out within 48 hours.
They have been great to work with so far. They are just trying to get things worked out and appreciate those of us that want to grow with them.
There are other companies out there where the norm is no less than 3 weeks for inspection and then it's difficult to pass. With this everyone gets paid no matter what, if improvements need to be made they'll let you know.
Sit tight, you'll get payment soon!
Oh and nice to have you aboard!
Me too! I hope I will be getting the big rug soon also. I sent my last project in 2 1/2 weeks ago and have heard nothing so far!
You really would think they would be working day and night trying to get caught up at this point! It seems as though everyone is just waiting and waiting. I hope things get rolling soon.
