I started shopping at Aldis with my mom many years ago. Now I have been shopping there for my family for about 4 years and I love it. I only buy bananas there, they are always .38/lb, and most of my fruit and veggies from Aldies. They also have good deals on dairy, tubs of butter are .99, margarine, .65, sour cream, .99, block cheese, 1.49 and cottage cheese is 1.99. These are their normal standard prices and sometimes they do have sales on these items. I bought strawberries this week for 1.69, which is usually a price you only see in the summer. Sometimes their fruit is not always the best, so you do need to check it out. However, fruit like strawberries are still good in things like smoothies, even if they are not the best.
The fresh beef is always 1.99/lb and I usually buy their frozen chicken breast there for 5.99 for a 2.5lb bag, I can get chicken cheaper somtimes, but not usually. My family and I just moved to a suburb of Minneapolis and the food prices up here are very high, so I am thankful that we have 2 Aldis within 20 minutes of our house. Everyone should check out Aldis. |

I don't know what I would do without Aldi. I can completely splurge on $100 worth of food, when that same amount would get me the bare necessities anywhere else.

Do they have any organic selection at all? I don't buy all organic, but quite a bit.

They do not have an organic section, but they do have a healthy brand of food that is called Fit and Active. You can buy whole grain pastas, wraps, sugar free fruit snacks, mayonaise and other products that are this brand. They also just started carrying a brand of juice similar to V8 splash that is diet and the price is 1.69, which is cheaper than anywhere else you can buy V8 splash. I hope this helps.

Thank you!
I'll have to pop into ours when I'm over that way. It's not super convenient, but wouldn't be bad if I combine it with another trip.
