Hi!


I train people in medical transcription and also consult for MT services around the country. Been doing this for over 20 years and co-own 3 MT services and have written a book on getting started in the business. We're getting ready to open another service next month and I'm so excited!


Other than a husband, 3 kids, 1 cat, 1 dog and a business, I love gardening (raising flowers) and landscaping. My hubby owns a landscaping business, and sometimes I prefer just to play in the dirt (while planting!) lol

   <LI>What kind of consulting, training or coaching do you offer? I am not consulting yet but I would like to begin offering consulting and training in all aspects of child care. Mainly for daycares and home care providers. I also have a friend who has talked about starting a consulting company for new parents offering child proofing and health and safety training and would like my help. I'm hear in hopes of finding tips and advice on getting started in these endeavors.
   <LI>What's one fun thing about yourself that you'd like to share? I am in the SCA which means I regularly dress up in medeival clothes and go camping with a bunch of other dressed up people who try to recreate the middle ages. </LI>

What kind of information are you intending to offer daycares and homecare providers? Once you get this idea, you can set up a free survey at www.surveymonkey.com and find out if what you are thinking is what they would appreciate, and also find out more ideas on what they would find of value. That's one idea off the top of my head. [img]smileys/smiley1.gif[/img] And making connections with other services and being the "connector", and getting referral or affiliate income from that as well. Sometimes a great place to start is with a newsletter.
