I just saw on the FTCC MedOnline website:

PLEASE NOTE: Prices for FTCC Med Online courses will increase after August 15th, 2009. The increase in price is due to legislation passed by the North Carolina state legislature. All courses that begin after August 15th, 2009 will cost $175.00.

I wonder if that is $175 total or for each part?

Jennifer, I received an email with the information. I'm sure it's for both parts, which is still a bargain (if you got the funds).

Yes, but I still feel like they are practically giving the program away to us! No complaints from me...

Yeah its still a good deal. I decided not to go through with it though, I dont think my passion is strong enough, I have another passion to fill. But my neighbor signed up,she never got to pursue a degree or anything in life so this means a lot to her.

Hi! I just wanted to check in with my fellow classmates to see how you're doing and where we all are in the modules.

I'm doing good. I just finished up Med Term block 2. I swear I've made at least 300 flash cards and I try to study them as much as I can which really helps.

I can't wait to hear how everyone else is doing!

I haven't done anything in a week toward my coursework. I've been too busy at my day job getting home at 10pm most days. Hopefully, I'll be able to catch up some over the weekend.

How is everyone else doing? How far have you gotten? I'm still on the first section.

I don't know....am I the only one that needs a little bit more time to memorize those suffixes and prefixes? I did print out a study planner...that keeps me on track. We have only until the end of Oct. and I am just finishing up Block 1...</font></font>

Well, I FINALLY made it to medical terminology. I didn't think I was every going to get here. I just glanced at the first few pages, but I'm with your Virginia on trying to remember prefixes and suffixes.

Hey Anne,

How's the medical coding going? I haven't had much time to do anything and will probably have to see if I can get an extension.
