hi-I'm a little confused-could you answer just a couple of questions for me about clc?

1. someone said something about plugging my phone into my computer. -what is that about?

2. do i need to be on the computer while I am making the calls?

3.do I need unlimited long-distance?- on my phone or computer?

4. what kind of phone do I need?

thanks for the information!-freida

1) You plug your phone into the back of your computer

2)Yes, but you dont need to be on the internet

3)Your phone must not have long distance blocked. You do not need unlimited long-distance because your computer will dial CLCs long distance access code so all the calls are billed to CLC

4)A corded telephone with aheadset. Most of us have the Durbrand phone from Walmart. $10. It's getting harder to fine these though. See thread about phones.

Carol B:You will probably hear from her thur or Friday, be patient it may take longer, there is only one of her.

Momoftwins:Yes they do audits on your calls, actual dial time to what you are billing them for but they have to! Otherwise they would have no way of truly knowing how long we actually worked. That way they can continue to pay us hourly instead of like others by dial time. Not a bad deal at all in my book.

carol b: I would not think it a mistake as long as you are realistic about how much you can work. I do not know what your other job is but I do know with CLC you just need to be able to do a min. of 12 hours in a week, you chose the days and how many hours (M-F). Be confident in yourself. It is good to not limit your options and chose what works best for you. Good Luck!
