I was just wondering , do I have to have dial up? And I have an answering machine , it says on the website that you have to have voice messaging , do I have to get this first before I apply? I have DSL , can I still apply? How would my phone work plugged into the computer with DSL? I know these are stupid questions but I really want to apply , but need to find out if I can or not.

thanks.

You don't have to have dial up. You can have DSL. I didn't have voice mail when I talked to Nancy but I had it that day. She told me to go to www.evoice.com and you can get free voice mail. There should bea place on the back of your computer to plug the phone line into your modem. I don't have DSL so maybe someone that has it can be more help as far as how things are hooked up.

Dial-up is fine. Recently, it has been changed that You DO need to have Long Distance, Durabrand has a pretty good phone and it has a headset with it. It comes in an orange box and it is sold at Wal-mart for about 9.97. I have the phone, the headset I purchased at Radio Shack because I wanted a mute button. I hope this answers your questions, Best of Luck!

You've always needed to have long distance access. Now you need unlimited long distance access. Also, most Wal-MArts are not selling the Durabrand phones anymore. You need to check and see if Nancy has a substituion.
