When it comes to candles, I am a jar candle type of girl -- think Yankee Candle. I've tried melts in the past but decided they are not for me (sorry Scentsy reps!). There is just something very satisfying about burning a candle down to nothing and then starting over with a new scent.

So with that in mind, I am wondering if you can tell me:
  1. What is your sales quota?
  2. What is the average price of your jar candles?
  3. Do you think your company works well for my situation? Or does it really only make sense to sign up if you plan to make a business out of it?

Thanks in advance!

Hello again Maryalene!

Just wondering how your research is going and if there are any other questions I could answer for you.

Hi Michelle,

I've spent a lot of time researching and decided that I am going with Pink Zebra. I was intrigued by your company, but I think the quota would be a bit of a stretch for me. However, I am planning to buy a candle off your site (and one from everyone else who responded with information) to give them a try as a customer. I really appreciated everyone taking the time to answer my questions and respond with information.

Thanks again!

Maryalene

Congratulations on your decision! The most important thing is that you choose a company that works for you.

For Every Home is introducing new products in the next week or so. Very exciting! Our wax will now be a soy/coconut blend, they will burn longer, have 50% more fragrance than we already have, NO soot.......

Also new fragrances! Very exciting.

Red face candles

Hi, I'm with Eclipse Candle co. Our candles are amazing. They are highly fragrant, the scent lasts through the entire burn time of the candle. The candles burn clean. The hot throw is awesome. Our scents are made by one of our owners, so you won't find anything like them anywhere else. The prices vary from $14- $17. Great prices for premium products.
We have no quota's at all. No min. purchase's to meet. We have a $10 a month web fee and that's it. We make a 30% commission. So you would get 30% back every time you shop. As long as you're paying your web fee you are entitled to all sales we have. You also get you 30% off sale items. Can't beat that, for a product you're going to love :-)
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions!

hi there I am a manager with Pink Zebra, and just wanted to add that with our sprinkles you can also get that same "feeling" of burning that whole candle down with our glimmer candles. 2 jars of sprinkles and a wick kit make up one candle, and you can mix and match your scent recipes to your liking You can also use any other jar you would like to make the candle.

Just a thought!

Good luck to you in your decision. I chose Pink Zebra because it was a ground floor business opportunity, with just over 500 consultants in the entire US. Its a great time to start with them as you can build a team, and the market is not saturated with reps!!

With Scent-Sations (Mia Bella), there is no monthly quota sales quota. If you are just looking for a discount on your own purchases, you could just become an "Asccociate" distributor for free, with NO monthly autoship and enjoy about a 20%-30% discount on the retail price of most products that way. If you want the largest discount (@50% of most of the core catalog), then you would need to become an auto-ship distributor, and choose an auto-ship package to ship out to you automatically each month. Since you love candles, and are not interested in the actual business, then I'd recommend the 2 jar option which also comes with a Bella bath bar (you will LOVE the soap!). The monthly auto-ship is only $39.95 and also includes your own website. I know you aren't interested in the business aspect, so you won't need to promote it but you will have it. Might come in handy for a little extra money when people who smell your candles visit and ask where you got them, you can just send them to your site to order and get a commission, by you are not obligated to reach any sales quota other than your monthly auto-ship to keep getting your approx 50% off of your orders, so unless you choose to, you don't need to promote it at all to remain active for your discount. Again... as an associate, you can get a pretty good discount for free (with no auto-ship) if that's all you are looking for, which it sounds to me from what you said that may be the best option for you. I just wanted to tell you the other option, so you knew that it only takes a $39.95 per month auto-ship to get the FULL distributor discount. Our candles are made with Natural wax too, as opposed to parrafin... so they burn VERY, unbelievably clean (NO more black soot all over your jar, walls and ceiling)... and they also burn unbelievably evenly. They have just as good of a scent throw as a yankee. I've yet to have ANYONE who has tried one of my candles say that they like any other brand better. Just the opposite. Most say that they won't burn anything else again after trying one. There are many great candle brands out there though... that has just been my experience. I absolutely LOVE the candles... which is WHY I decided to become a distributor myself! My advice, is to order a candle from each of the comapnies that you have narrowed it down to, then become a distributor or associate (if the company you choose has an option like that), of the one that you liked the best.
