I sell Gold Canyon and I love it. Just like you I dont really do parties, so I do mostly catalog parties, and once in awhile if my neighbor wants to host an actual party I would since it would be in walking distance.

Gold Canyon sells Candles, Warmers (with timers for automatic shut off), diffusers, fragrance oil, home decor, auto fresheners, lotions and more.

To start your business its $149 for the Full Business Kit and $99 for Business Kit. But we have a promo going on where they can bill you in 3 payments, just pay $20 upfront BUT if you sell $700 (for Full Business) or $350 (Business) your first 30 days then you get your kit FREE. Ive gotten my kit free and it was easy for me to achieve the $700 within 30 days.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

You're making a great decision. It's best to do your homework. That's what I did before joining Scentsy. Candles are great, because they're consumable and your customers always need more! Good luck on your future endeavor!

Default Thanks, Everyone!

In the end, I decided to go with Hat Creek Candles. They're not as well known, and they have an affiliate program not a direct sales consultant approach. But it is ideal for me. I do like Scentsy, but I will be selling candles online ONLY - unless I take a few to an expo or vendor show. And I simply saw no reason to pay for a kit when I knew I was not going to have a party. Hat Creek Candles is free, and their candles are really nice. And of course, no quotas!

Good for you Caroline in choosing Hat Creek Candles. I myself am with a not well known candle company, with a more wholesale approach than direct sales as well. I love it. I didn't have to pay for a kit either, I just purchased some tea lights in the scents offered. I have no quotas, can order 1 candle to any amount. The owner ships my candles, gets a total, sends me an invoice and then I pay via check through the mail when I receive my candles. I'm very happy for you that you found what was ideal for you. Now if the posters would see that......
