If I were you, I would look into ONE thing that you can devote yourself to rather than picking up several, mindless low-income things. Why not find something you love and something that encourages personal growth and success. Start looking at things that interest you and see if you can work within that field to bring in the extra income you'd like. You never know, you might be able to replace whatever it is you do now with something you find that you love.

Best of luck.

Of course, if I could find one that paid well and would fit into my currently overly busy life that would be awesome too.

So what do all of you do?

If you run your own business, just how exactly do you find the time for it(the idea intrigues and at the same time frightens me *laughs* Super shy girl here

Lisa, when I read things like this I'm saddened because times are tough for lots of people, incomes are down, expenses are up, job security is down the drain and most peoples lives are becoming busier and busier. On top of that many ladies do more on a daily basis than their guys - and that's even without children!! - or a job to provide the second income most families need.

12-16 hours a day on your computer!

Can I, as someone who is free and who does 4 hours a day X 6 days a week to generate my sole work from home income and a very relaxed lifestyle, offer you and any other readers some advice.

STOP trading time for money! You cannot get very far ahead financially doing that, much less become totally financially and personally free. There simply isn't enough hours in a day to do it!

You have to leverage your time ( work with others collectively to multiply your personal productivity and earnings)

Now don't switch off on me - I'm not talking about MLM. Been there done that, very successfully, but moved on for reasons I won't waste time explaining now and these days earn my relaxed lifestyle through affiliate marketing BUT doing it in a very efficient way that leverages my time dramatically and ramps my residual income up wonderfully well.

Obviously it's not possible to detail exactly how I leverage my time here but these are a few principles you may be able to use: (I really! hope you do!!)

1) Work ON your business, not IN your business. Outsource everything that would distract from that principle.

2) Use multi-tier affiliate (not MLM) affiliate programs offering 100% commissions and IP tagging to provide you with ongoing sales on any referral. These modern affiliate programs offer terrific advantages over other affiliate programs. They are my primary income source and I've written extensively about them at my StartBusinessMentor Blog for that very reason.

3) Recruit teams of affiliates by putting together great offers and paying them 100% upfront. (Make sure you have a good sales funnel so that you make your money on the backend)

4) Make multiple use of any content you produce: ie your blog posts can be automatically posted out to hundreds of other sites that will bring visitors to your offers, the same post can be used in your email marketing, or converted to an audio podcast, or even part of a paid report.

I hope that helps you.

Default Found a work from home co. that is hiring

I've been searching for a good work from home opportunity for some time. I also want something with growth potential. AIL offers an opportunity to work around your family’s schedule and still make money. They are posting some inspirational videos on their Facebook page of employees and their stories of how long they've been with the company and how they are doing now. Check them out at American Income Life Insurance - AIL.Insurance on Facebook. Good luck!

Hi!! I am stay at home mom to a one yr old lil boy, Brodey, full time online college student, and my husband and I own a trucking company. That seems like a lot but I still find to mess around on the internet I have been with one of the big health and wellness companies for a lil over a year now, absouletly love the eco-friendly, safe, cheaper products they provide but I don't do too much promoting. I have found some read email sites, Inbox dollars (Paid Email & Cash for Shopping Online - InboxDollars) I have been paid a couple of hundred dollars from them over the years. My latest, most successful business adventure from home is PINK ZEBRA HOME (www.pinkzebrahome.com/kansassprinkles) I have tried a couple of different DS companies throughout the years and have had too much success, but this one I must have been destined to find!!
I wish you luck in finding what you want!!!

I would say to try to start a biz doing what you like.I love to do photography, so I started selling my photos. Then that led to digital art, then fractal and kaleidoscope art.

I may not make a ton of money...but I love it...

I'm a freelance writer. I work 10-15 hours per week and make well more than I would if I were to work 40 hours at minimum wage, so it most definitely works for me. I agree with most of the previous suggestions: find something that you love to do, find out what it's worth and charge accordingly, outsource where you can to free up your own time, and don't spread yourself thin over little jobs where you are only making pennies. Devote the time necessary one thing, preferably something that you have a passion for, and jump in with two feet! Good luck!

The only thing I see that suffers from lack of attention is my house! I used to maintain a very clean house. I simply don't have the time to worry about some dust. I keep bathrooms and the kitchen clean. The rest I do when I can. No one but me thinks it looks dirty, but living in it, I know when I last cleaned.

Years ago, when I was talking to my aunt about not having enough time to clean house, she said, "So, if you use all your off time cleaning house, it will say 'She had a clean house' on your tombstone." It kind of put it into perspective.

I work only on the Internet - at least so far - so I don't worry about face-to-face meetings.

I too use to clean clean clean.............but now I would rather do business and grow as a person. I love a clean house, but now I am like you, mostly keep the kitchen and bathroom clean and the rest now and then. My mom worries about her clutter, going through paper work etc so the kids won't have to do it when she is gone........I keep telling her let it go, enjoy life! so what if someone has to dust something after we are gone!! They won't mind. I am sure they would rather we did what we wanted than to be spotless.
