Default Need business idea suggestions

I am looking for something that does not involve home parties or travel ( no car). Basically something that can be done from the computer that has low start up costs and doesn't require expensive monthly maintenance fees.

I am in a tough bind right now and will have to use my refund money from school to start something again (I am a graduate student).

My interests are education, children, food, saving money, and helping others.

I am with Beachbody and considering giving it up since I feel like I have lost my drive for it. I am not considering another fitness business though.

Why not develop an informational site about your passion? You mention you are interested in educstion, children, food, saving money and helping others which is fine. You can PM me for more info, but I use SBI in my goal setting business. Check out my about me page, and get back to me if you are interested.

Best-

Wayne

Hi Supermom,

I am sending you a pm so you may research what my company has to offer. Sounds like you could be interested as this company is all about saving money and helping others!

First suggestion would be to look at starting a service based business (maybe writing for businesses?) since you say you are in a bind.

ANY home business is going to take an investment of time and MONEY. Doesn't matter if they say they are free either, they are still going to cost you.

If I were in your situation, I would offer immediate services AND start a niche site/blog on the side about something you have a passion for like cooking as an example (very affordable, all you need to start is a domain name and hosting account). Down the road you would need more to grow the business but that is a great way to start. It does take time to learn though so if you don't have extra time, I would go with offering services.

Have you looked into Discovery toys or children books? They have a folder here for them. I think you can just sell them online.

Since you want it to be done in the computer, why not try online jobs includes writing articles or tutoring if you know any secondary languages since you are an education graduation, I supposed.

Also, you can start blogging. It's easy to learn and would cost you less.

Hi SuperMom! Glad to see you are looking at options that will be a good fit for you. I think it's so important to love your company and your product so that passion fuels your efforts.

I am really happy to have found something that I CAN truly work from home, and with really, really low investments (no parties, no kits, etc. but still lovely and fun.) I like making people happy and working with beautiful things, so it fits me. Please take a look if you are still researching. I hope you will find something perfect for you and where you are right now. You have a lot on your plate, so you deserve to do something enjoyable for YOU

Lynn

Default New year new business?

Hi
What a great time of year to be thinking of a new business, out with the old year and in with the new!
I am a stay at home Mum, and I work my business part-time around my children and family time. All of mu customers visit me at home, and the appointments I make to see them I time around the time I need for my family. I use my computer to advertise and keep track of the other members of my team. We hold weekly webinars and daily training sessions - all online. All costs are kept to a minimum - I lover free advertising and promotion.
At this time of year, people are very reflective and consider what they have achieved and how they can take steps to make changes in the coming year. I find that in particular, people consider their health and wellness and what they can do to obtain the healthy active lifestyle they so want. The number of customers I have increases hugely in January, and so this may be a great time for you to develop your own business in this field.
I wish you so good luck with your new venture
Jayne

I have tried non phone online jobs and I never qualify. I could not pass the test for Leapforce or Lionbridge. I do write articles on Fiverr but can't seem to have the time to write more samples to increase my ratings for Textbroker.

I have considered tutoring but the fields I am good in are not offered or not hiring. I was a psychology major and I am working on my master degree in Social Work. I am marketing those services on craigslist so I hope to find someone.

I have a blog that I haven't touched in months since I got busy with school. I really need to get back on it. I need some critics though.
