I see you are in a really tough bind especially with no job experience or references.

What are your talents? What skills do you have? What are you passionate about? I know you have some that you probably don't think of as skills or talents.

It sound like you don't have much to do a home business but you could possibly use any money made from those sites to start one but it is going to take positive thinking and hard work to put toward a home business.But make sure if you choose something it is something you are passionate about and can see yourself doing.

I think blogging is a great idea. You can earn more money with surveys and those "get paid to" sites from referrals and a blog is the best way to go about it.

You say you're already familiar with MTurk without much success, from my understanding, there are a lot of shortcuts and tips/tricks that will help your per hour increase dramatically.

Still not the greatest, but, while trying to get something else going, you'd at least be making more than you are now with MTurk. Google and search this site for "how to make money with MTurk" or "how to make 8.00 hour with MTurk." or similar searches.

Maybe someone here has tips. Meanwhile keep looking something will come your way.
