Default Membership sites

Does anyone join membership sites anymore? If you do would love to hear what topic membership sites you like to frequent, doesn't matter if its free or paid. Would just love to hear what everyone stays up to date on. Thanks.

Red face Favorties

I like advertising bulk email sites. One time fee sites that I can keep using over and over everyday.

Yes, I join membership sites (all paid). Most have to do with Affiliate/Internet marketing. That is where I spend most of my time actually because I like the caliber of people in them who are working their businesses and not full of fluff and misinformation like many forums are these days!

I just started a new niche travel blog so I would look for those type of membership sites too.

Hope this helps!

To my opinion any website is a certain membership for its users and you can be its part acoording to your prefernces as well. So any forum allows you to be participated in its community membership.

Actually, these days there is a new twist on the 'membership' site. It used to be only access to a hidden web site. Now-a-days, membership scripts are used for delivering multi-video training courses. You're still a 'member' but there isn't a connection for other members and you get access to other low-cost courses.

So to answer your question... No, I don't join membership sites, but Yes, I purchase video courses that are membership based - and that's how I deliver my own video training courses.

Most of the membership sites that I've ever signed up for are in the online/affiliate marketing niche. They seem to be the ones that utilize membership sites for their products the most.

I belong to one internet marketing membership site and I love it. The group there is made of of newbies to very successful marketers, and everyone willingly shares information with everyone else.

Oh, yes, people still join them. For me, it's a way of delivering my video content in a secure environment. It's cheaper for me than mailing CD's, which keeps the cost down, yet makes it difficult for people to "pirate" my content and share it illegally with their friends.

For others, they sometimes call something a "memberhip" site to add perceived value. Then they add on words like "exclusive," "access", etc. Somehow belonging to a membership makes the content seem more valuable. Interesting psychology.
