What's holding you back from working from home?
I'd love to hear from other women what held you back from working from home or what's holding you back if you haven't taken the plunge yet.
How did you overcome whatever held you back?

For me it was finding the right company that worked for me.. I started my search back in 2000 joined my current company in 2004 (this was like my 70th And Last work at home attempt) I knew I was going to make this work no looking back
 it was either this or corporate America for the rest of my life

If you really want to work from home, you just have to keep trying. First, second and third time may not work and if you give up, it wont happen. Dont quit and you will eventually be able to do it successfully.

For me it was skepticism but as soon as I took the plunge, I find out that working from home is possible and not only that, you could make a fairly decent income.

I too was skeptical. I had heard of so many scams that I was afraid to take the plunge for a long time. I did a TON of research before I was convinced the company I represent was solid, reputable and had a product I could stand behind.

What's kept me from taking the plunge is trying to find something I love. I am a realtor and work from home when I can. Unfortunately with this business, I am out on the road showing houses and that is NOT what I want.
I am brainstorming ideas right now and hopefully before the month is over I'll have decided on what I want to do and go for it!

It sounds like you have narrowed down your options dugsmom. May I recommend that you research those options very carefully on the internet. Don't just look at the company's websites, but also on 3rd party websites to see what outsiders say about the companies.
I wish you great success with whatever home business you select.

My story is that I owned a Taxi in Cinci and then I moved way out to nowhere! I didn;t have a choice but to work from home, and when you don;t have a choice in the matter, there is nothing that can hold you back!
Hey that's a pretty good quote! "When you don't have a choice but to succeed, nothing can hold you back."
