I use The Cutest Blog on the Block - Free Blog Backgrounds, layouts and more! for some of my blogs they have super cute free blogger themes. I know what you mean about wanting to feel good about how it looks but in the end it's the content that matters.

I checked out your blog and it would be a good idea to google everything you can about colors that "pop" and the color wheel. It looks like you have just picked colors that are "blah" together. There are several videos online that will teach you about design and color theory. Good luck and remember, contrast is the biggest pop factor.

After some time searching, I think I finally found something that works for me!
I love my blog now and I think that results in me putting more quality content onto it. Let me know what you guys think
