Arrow To Work at UHAUL or to Not?

Hey everyone,

I recently got the "call" from UHAUL offering me a position to work at home. I was excited and happy. But I currently work a full-time stable job. I am stuck because I don't know what to do.

If I made the required reservations that UHAUL asks of its employees, then I would definitely be making more than what I make right now which is $8.50/hr. BUT if don't, then I will only get a base pay of $7.50/hr from UHAUL and then be making less money.

Where I work right now, I am not enjoying it. I mean I am trying to suck it up because that's what I've been told to do by my boyfriend who thinks it would be ludicrous if I left this good job because jobs are so scarce where we live.

The position at UHAUL is temporary but there is change for becoming permanent but that is still a scary thought because after September, what am I supposed to do?

I want to work at home so then my schooling will be easier to handle. I want to be able to pay for my bills though.

If anyone has had experience with UHAUL, please leave some input. I am having a hard time deciding what to do.

Hope this post made sense!

Katie

So, I’m pretty sure everyone has heard of Uhaul… It’s only one of the largest moving companies in the United States!

I have been trying forever to get on with U-haul. Don't know why I don't qualify for the job, I have been in the customer service field for 18yrs... I have seen posts and it sounds like a good job to have, ppl on the posts have been there for 2 yrs or longer and they give raises.

I am in school also and I work from home, honestly it does not make my school life any easier. Of course the job I have I am working around 6-7 hours a day.

Hope everything works out for you
