Hi LeadZumba,

Twitter is about providing good quality information from your tweets. My suggestion is to start following people in your niche / business and then tweet about things related to your business. For those people you've followed, RT their articles/blogs/ tweets.

Remember never to spam twitter. 140 characters is not a lot but if used wisely can have a big reach.

1. Use Hashtags like this #wahm for your tweets, this adds your tweets to Twitter's searches. So when people search for wahm, your tweet will show up. You can use this for any examples like #business and it will show up when someone searches for business on Twitter.
2. Fill up your bio, place a picture, describe who you are, add a good website link, Linking directly to an affiliate website is no use nowadays. People won't buy anything from you. The best is to link directly to your website or landing page.
3. Tweet quality content. If you don't have any, not to worry, go around and surf for good stuff to tweet about.
4. Don't forget to use tools to help automate your twitter tasks. Tools like Hootsuite is a great tool to start using.

I've had a Twitter account for a while but never really used it. I didn't remember my username or my password but I've been inspired to make it a part of my marketing regimen. I even openned a Hootsuite account. I'm excited!
