If you offer services or products of any kind you could always list on Gig sites like Fiverr.com, Fourerr.com, WAHMSGigs.com and WAHGigs.com. Just a thought to earn some extra cash from home

By now, it may sound like a broken record, but if you decide to look for a business opportunity, do lots of research. Do not rely on the company's website or the person trying to recruit you. Visit 3rd party websites to see what outsiders say about the company.

There are hundreds, perhaps thousands of biz ops these days. I suggest you look at the products and/or services offered by a company. Could you get excited enough about it to promote it? I tried a "party" company and didn't like it. I know others who love doing the parties. Skin care, cosmetics, nutritionals and weight-loss companies, & on & on. Once you find a product you think you could get passionate about, begin your research on the company.

As others have said, there is no reputable home business where you'll be earning enough to make a difference in your life right away.

Best of luck to you whatever direction you decide to go.

I started 21 years ago when my second child was born. I took what I learned from the business world and applied it to my own business. I agree with the others that the money will not come right away. Also, working for yourself is harder than working outside the home. For many years, I did not get much sleep. I still put in more than 8 hours a day. Also, you have to put time aside for learning. After all this time, I still study current trends and subscribe to many business magazines. It's not easy to stay on top of an entire field that is flooded. Everyone and their mother is marketing something online. You can start a business with little or no money. I'd start with something in service, such as babysitting, dog sitting, etc. Take that money and put it aside for your business idea.
