Wink I would love to earn money by typing - or writing online.

Any ideas out there? I am a mother of 4, so phone jobs are out of the question. I love writing. I don't have a clue though, on how to get started doing any professional writing. I would love a data entry position, or something where I could write all day as I have time. Any Ideas would be super appreciated. Thank you!

I would advice you do a search on Google for freelancing or article writing job. Sure you will have a lot of result, ensure you take your time to pick the best out of your list.

You might want to check out ehow dot com as well as constant-content dot come to see how it can be of benefit to you.

elance and odesk are two resources I've been paid from

To learn the nuts and bolts, browse their forums, a lot of good information there.

These are not ad packed sites with a bunch of junk that wastes your time.

You can read conversations from people there from all skill levels and experiences.

Post Writing?

Well, first of all, I'll say that quality writers are always in demand... myself included. I don't know what I'd do without the help of my writers.

Suggestions:
  • Keep putting the word out like you are here.
  • Tweet about it.
  • Post it on CraigsList

Definitely set up even a one page website so you have a 'home' where people can interact with you on a professional level.

Good luck

Depending on how much start up work you want to do, you can check into starting out with content mills. They don't pay amazing but they can be a steady paycheck. After you get some experience you can get into higher paying clients.

If you are interested in writing, I highly recommend checking out the writing folder, as there are a lot of great people and resources in that folder.

Hi, writing online can be truly rewarding and a good means to generate income. Definitely check out the writing folder here. I also list writing jobs on my site, along with other categories. There are some great resources such as ehow, constantcontent and much more (along with ones already mentioned). Blogging is also a great way to go. Nice to know that there are very viable options and it can actually be fun.

Wishing you success with your quest,

Annie

Smile Hope this helps

There is a wonderful free program out there called webeserve.com that might be interesting to you. There are many opportunities with it for getting paid to write and you can even choose your projects depending on your time or interest. You mentioned you had a lot of time so this perhaps could be lucrative for you. I will keep my eyes open and let you know if I come across something that seems legit with potential.

Good Luck to you

I also would like to get into some form of typing/writing/data entry work to earn extra money. Thank you for putting this question out here as it has provided me with some valuable answers too! Also, there is a nationally syndicated talk show host called Clark Howard. If you go to his website ClarkHoward.com Home: Save More, Spend Less and Avoid Rip-Offs on clarkhoward.com (I think) he does have a section dealing with legitimate work at home links. Some of them may be writing jobs. Not sure. Someone else told me about Work at Home Jobs: Free Legitimate Work From Home Job Opportunities. I'll be honest and say it has not been very beneficial to me, but that doesn't mean it won't help someone else. Good luck!
