I believe social marketing is also awesome in getting network marketing leads particularly Facebook and Myspace. It is just important to invite like minded people.

I think there all good but i would put web 2.0 ahead of forum marketing.

i think its more effective then forum marketing but that just my opinion.

i really think its is up to you and your personality..some people would put

SEO up there. Someone like myself wouldn;t have the patience for that.

Plus SEO is so unpredictable you can be on firstpage one day then on the

10th the next day.

Some may like video marketing but others may dislike it because there

afraid to be in front of the camera. So i think its up to you and your personality.

Here are some more very good traffic sources:

1. Trade links with other web sites. They should be
related to the subject of your web site. Instead of
trading links, you could also trade banner ads, half
page ads, classified ads, etc.

2. Start an e-zine for your web site. When people
read each issue they'll be reminded to revisit your
web site. They'll see your product ad more than
just once which will increase your orders.

3. Form an online community. It could be an online
message board, e-mail discussion list or chat room.
When people get involved in your community they
will regularly return to communicate with others.

4. Write articles and submit them to e-zines, web
sites and magazines that accept article submissions.
Include your business information and web address
at the end of the article.

3) Forum Marketing

Would everyone agree that these are the three best, and does anyone have suggestions for a fourth?

Thanks!
The company I work with all you have to do is get 2 people to join your group and we will give you 4 for free one if not more of which is all ready buying product, and that happens over and ove each time you get 2 so you are already making money, and much less marketing.

You can find out more in my profile or send me an email. I would have my like in here, but I don't have thirty post yet. If you contact me I will give you a number to our weekly conference call for tomorrow and you can hear for yourself.

What type of business do you have? I do internet marketing so all of my business is done online. I build websites using the Wordpress blog platform because Google loves blogs. You can make them look like a blog or you can make them look like a static website. I consistently add content to my websites and then use several methods to promote the sites.

Article marketing is probably one of the most successful ways to promote your website. I've also used web 2.0 sites, like Squidoo, to build links back to my main sites. Say I have a website about blue widgets. I'll put a good lens up on Squidoo and put links in it to my main site about blue widgets. With Squidoo though, you have to make sure the subject of your lens falls within their guidelines of acceptable topics.

I strongly suspect that it's actually "regularly updated websites" that Google loves, not "blogs": blogs just happen, pretty often, to be regularly updated, and that's why it looks that way.

In these days of all the blogging software having static page facilities, and other content management systems all being so regularly updatable, in real terms there's actually very little difference indeed between a blog and a "non-blog website".

The great problem with a lot of the so-called "Web 2.0" facilities is that you don't actually own or meaningfully control your own sites there and are making yourself unnecessarily dependent on others' terms and conditions and their continued goodwill and existence. I'd use one as part of a backlinking strategy, perhaps, but never as a "real site".

I would just add that the people you meet in forums etc could become very good business friends and even potential JV partners.

Internet marketing can be network marketing, but what sort of business are you running?

Internet marketing and blogging are great for selling products and services, because people can look your product selection up, buy directly from you, without having to be in your area. Local businesses suffer sometimes simply because there's more people shopping online.

If your business is to sell your business (not my favorite type of business), then network marketing to build relationships can be done via a blog, and presenting information, letting people learn and grow with you before you try to sell them something. (For example, making them go through a free 5 week lesson plan before you show them a link to help them sign up for your business.)

A good network marketer, for example, is YouTube - AirelonTrading's Channel

This guy shares his information, and gets a very select group of folks following him and his ideas. If he wanted to sell something, or work with other people, he has the select audiance to work with.

So depending on your business, there's different ways to market yourself. For myself, I sell information, ebooks and reports, so I'm very much invested in the internet. It would not be very responsable of me to suggest a method that would work best for you without seeing your business and making direct comments.
