Smile Newbie...sort of. Looking for WAH ideas

I am sort of new. A few years ago, I was a regular user of these forums promoting paid to click sites but life happened. I was diagnosed with cancer in 2006 and have been fighting since. Needless to say, I have a few bills, two jobs and am looking for a legitimate work from home gig that doesn't take hours and hours and actually will yield a small income, (not looking to get rich, just pay off a few bills) guaranteed. If anyone has such a business and will help me with it, I'd be interested in listening. I've explored the idea of Tampogo, marketing green cigarettes etc. and am still interested in those things. If anyone is a Tampogo or green cig distributor, I'd like to know more. I'd also like to hear about other opportunities.
THanks!

Default Your situation

It is great that you can work again and are beating cancer!

I don't know about the 2 opportunities you listed but do know I love what I do. I am very picky about what I get involved with and took the time to reseach it thoroughly so whatever you decide, investigate and make sure it is something you are passionate about.

Smile Good for You!

So glad to hear that you are back at it again and fighting cancer. My Dad is battling cancer right now as well, so I know how all consuming it is.

I would say that you could do 1 of 2 things:

1.) Find a job that allows you to telecommute. You might have to take a little less pay, but the difference in fuel, meals out, and clothing might make up the difference.

2.) Start working as an independent distributor for a legitimate network marketing company. My husband and I started working from home part time. 5 yrs ago he quit his job and I quit my nursing job 2 1/2 yrs ago. We now make a 6 figure yearly income. It didn't start out that way though. You have to be willing to do the work consistently, and watch what grows!

You can see more info on my profile. Hope it works out for you!

Promoting Electronic cigarettes can be a lucrative way to go.

I have been doing this for a while and have been quite pleased with the results.

The beauty of this is - you are actually helping people and there are smokers everywhere, so you're not restricted to any particular niche.

I know you said you are looking for something that doesn't take hours and hours of work, but that's what this business takes when it comes down to it.

Maybe instead you can just do some other work for people like writing articles? You can go to sites like getafreelancer and post bids on jobs there, that's a good way to make some extra money.

Heres my 3 tips for you

1 Have a passion for what you are doing, this will be the difference between success and failure.

2 Make absolutley sure you have the proper training and techniques to follow, otherwise you will not no were to start

3 Make sure you treat your new home business like a job, do not let yourself get side tracked, have a set time to do certain things with no distractions.

Hi! Have you tried looking into becoming a virtual assistant? As a virtual assistant you could find work quite fast on the freelance sites e.g., elance.com and guru.com. You could write articles, answer emails, etc. Good luck on your search and take care.

Default La Bella Baskets

I just started with La Bella Baskets. What I like about this as opposed to Mary Kay, or Pampered Chef(which I have done in the past and hated) is that you don't have to do parties.(big selling point for me) You can market your business online or offline, or both. You can also focus on selling the baskets or recruiting or both. The other thing I like is that the recruiter only gets a one time payment of $15 for the recruit, not a percentage of all their sells. If you want to know more, just ask.

Glad to hear you are doing better, I am with Yoli with network marketing you don't have to put a lot of time into your business in fact you decide if you want to work part-time or full-time. If you work a min of at least 7-15 hours a week you could really do very well.

Passion is important as mentioned as well, something in the going green arena which is already your interest is wonderful I am sure you could definitely find something that would fit with in network marketing you would have to do your research for something that fits for you.

One final suggestion, when you have time to for researching you should start with the links in the everyone's signature below. Good luck

Michelle
