I wouldn't give out your password. Something like that happened to my sister last year and her account was stolen by someone and they sent out emails to all of her contacts saying that she needed money and where they should send it to her. She had to get a new email and contact everyone and let them know what happened. If I were you, I would try to call someone, there has to be some 800 # somewhere and you can ask them if it is true.

I would just try to log in online and see what happens. If it's legit, you will know. Type in the address - no clicking on links. Never click on a suspicious link or give out your password to anyone via email.

NO ITS NOT REAL, no one will every ask you for your password, not yahoo, not gmail, not paypal, they will never do that.
What they will do is give you a link to update your details or confirm your details.

Some scammers even take advantage of that and send the same link to the same page, but its on a diffrent domain.
You HAVE to make sure in your URL that you are in the correct website before typying any passwords.

This is a scam! Looks similar to existing ones out there...

Sounds like something you should report at

Yes, look at the return email and or any link very closely because I get those that look like they're from who they say they are but the address would be almost the same... almost. And you know it's phishy when they ask for a DOB and Country!
