My greatest fear was getting client’s to work with me, but I was able to jump over that hurdle in a matter of 2 months. I was able to get 10 clients. They became raving fans and started referring more business to me consistently that was how I was able to keep my pipeline full. <?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" />

Joyce how wonderful when things leap ahead for us! Could it be that our fears motivate us to do better?

Default Fears are REAL!

So what do you do to overcome a FEAR when they come on your path?

Venturing out in a new business is scary -- like the pages of posts before me -- fear of just about everything! Losing money, being scammed, venture not be successful, being ridiculed, would people pay for your services/product covers just about my feelings with each new venture I set out to do.

However, I LOVE the creative parts of anything new and relish in getting something started from scratch. Granted, I have dabbled in many new projects on my own and with others with the end result of.... well... to put it bluntly... failure of some sort each time. That does not deter me from continuing to do so as this seems to be my passion.

For me personally, I never invest more than I can afford to walk away from although I do put in long hard hours.

How I overcome my fear: I think of Colonel Saunders (KFC) -- it took him many, many failures to reach success. And a quote I have on my desk:

With ME all things are possible -- GOD

Just my 2 cents!

When I started my first business back in 2002 this was one of my fears..
"Will I be able to work from home and be successful?"

What has helped me over come this fear is staying positive and having
a very supportive husband as well as being very consistent with working
my business. Keeping focused on my "Why" helps.. But what has really helped
is when I started to see the rewards and my efforts in working my business paying off..

Default Greatest Fear!

Fear is a pretty natural emotion! It looks like we all have fear and most of us have the same fears so that can be comforting to know that we are not alone!

I guess what we are learning is that we cannot let our FEAR get in the way and cripple us! In order to get to the next level, or next step we need to face that fear! It is harder than said I know that, but necessary to get to the next place you want to get to in life or in your business!

Remember: Even the Bible says: "BELIEVE and DECLARE those things that are not, as if they are" Rom 4:17

Believe in what you want and take the courage that PatsyD said:
With GOD I can do all things because all things are possible with GOD.
