My main free advertising methods include article writing and submission; forum posting; blogging and traffic exchanges. CraigList and Mymacronet submissions are also great.

Default My Places to advertise

I've used Backpage and a new site called Phinditt, very similar to BP, except they let you post 3 cities at a time, so works well.

Hi, everybody!

I have found that Craigslist is one of the best places to generate quick, free traffic.

Peace and Blessings,

There are a lot of great forums out there, not just wahm. If you need advice on websites or online business building, digitalpoint.com is an excellent resourse. Do not exclude the niche forums when looking for topics of interest. Many have well seasoned veterans willing to share invaluable tips and strategies!

Yes but if you don't do it in a clever manner, you'll find yourself banned from craigslist with your IP blocked.

Craigslist might generate quick traffic, but it's not necessarily good traffic. Usually people who click on the ads there are just curious and not targeted traffic. Plus, it's not good in the long run because they aren't stable links.

Never heard of Tinkn.com before. Went to it and it looks like it would only help for localized businesses, though.
