Mine doesn't make much money. I probably loose a couple hundred a year, but as time goes on, it does better. I own a parenting site and community forum for moms, dads and parents to be. We turn 2 in March! I'm proud of it. I have found the more I add content and keep the boards busy, we generate more traffic. But we're still growing and nothing huge like parents.com or anything like that. But I like the intimacy of my site. There's no advertising on the boards. No pop up ads or anything too flashy. It's all about desire. Most people would have quit with a site like mine because it's not generating enough money. I realize that it'll take 2-5 years before I can turn a strong profit from this. Good luck in whatever you choose!!

I've done both work from home and running a home business. The home business leaves a lot of flexibility but you have to make it grow. Working from home requires you adhere to the companies times and standards. Both have pro's and cons. I have been growing my business rather quickly but I work at it. Quite rewarding! Good Luck!

When looking for work at home you must follow your passion. What works for others may not work for you. For example, I love make-up and candles. However, I know that I could not sell them or remain true to one specific brand. Needless, to say my passion lies in being of service particularly helping to inspire and empower women to be at their best. That is why I became a Compass Representative. It fits me because I am also a teacher. So mentoring and helping others is true to me.
Suffice to say, look into where your passion lies because doing something you love will not seem like a business at all since you will be having fun. I can tell you all about Compass if you like just connect with me for more. I dont want to break the signature rules here. Good luck and God Bless!! |

If you truly like to help other people and make them happy, I may be able to give you some insight. My husband and I do quite well at sending greeting cards and gifts to others and make a good income from it. If this sounds right for you, get back with me.

When you are looking for an online job make sure you check into the companies background, a quick google can tell you that, and make absolutley sure they have a physical address, also you must have great training and support available otherwise it is extremly hard to get going. You must also have a passion for what you are doing, this is the difference between success and failure.
I have had great success with article and video marketing, but you must find a company with good training on this. Take Care.
