As someone with combination skin, my problem with liquid foundation is that it would cause my dry patches to flake. So my solution has been to make sure I put on moisturizer, and then use mineral makeup applied with a kabuki brush, which gives thicker coverage. It covers the acne but doesn't clog my poors and create more of it, which has been wonderful.

I use that brush with my normal blush as I like the way it just smooths across my cheeks! Bonnie .
