Questions for you...
Hi,
I am Paul and I am looking at Avon as a business and I have a couple of questions. How are you honestly doing and if you have a retail store in your area, how does it affect you? I have been a long time member of the boards and have benefited in the wisdom and knowledge here with jobs and opportunities. If you would like to share anything else about Avon, I'd appreciate it. There is not a retail store in my area. My business is doing well, the more effort you put into it the more results you will get. Since I am also attending school I haven't put a lot of effort into it but I am still meeting most of my goals. If you have any other questions you would like answered don't hesitate to ask.

The closest retail store is about 30 - 40 minutes away but it's not impacting my business. Sales are great right now and my business is doing very well. Of courese, I want my business and my team to be successful so I put a lot into it.
I absolutely love my job!

We also have an Avon retail store about 15 min away and I can say that everyone I know shop thru an Avon rep. I've never even stepped inside it and I pass it all the time.

It really is all about customer service. Get to know your customer base, go that extra step.

So how are things going? When I did Avon a few years ago in Las Vegas, there were 3 Avon stores in town, but I still did ok. I never had anyone mention the stores. I live in a really small town now and there is an Avon store just a few blocks from where I live. I don't think I would try to do Avon here beacuse of that.
