Happy Halloween (here's an idea)

I just finished putting together my goodie bags.

I used the smallest Avon paper bag (240-389) and put in three pieces of mini chocolates, a Moisture Thereapy lip balm (my personal favorite) and the 99cent anti-bacterial flyer with my website info (w/free ship code: FSANY) and phone # on it.

Is anyone else promoting their Avon business this Halloween? If so, what did YOU do?

I live in a moderate traffic area so along with candy I plan on giving a brochure and a 10% off flyer.

Well I have No traffic at my house. I made up 120 packets, with a brochure, a letter, a sample of In Bloom, a lipstick (I also put as many mark books I had in the packets as well as the inspirationaly books). So my plan was to go with my youngest daughter trick or treating and pass them out door to door. Then her friend decided to have a party, they were to trick or treat together and then have a sleep over.

I did a little walking around handing out my packets but I didn't have much time before I had to get home to drive my daughter to her sleepover and then drive my other daughter and her friends to their trick or treating destination. However, the "other" one is 16 so there was no way that she was letting me tag along.

Well one of my customers called me with an order and while we were talking, I mentioned my dilemma. She said she had lots of people coming by and would hand out some brochures for me. My MIL is handing out some for me too

So we'll see how it goes.

Our city doesn't do Trick or Treat on Halloween they do it sometime durning the week and because my kids don't go to school here we never know when it is until we see kids walking around plus I don't sell to this town either, never could get loyal customers. I did take my kids Trick or Treat with my sister and family but we went in the town she lives and I don't deliver in that town so I didn't do anything that was Avon related last night.
