I just spoke with someone named Casey at the 1800Arbonne number and she says the Oprah rumor is just that...a rumor. The author of The Gift has no plans of being on Oprah this time around for this book.

This is true...Arbonne corporate sent out an email to NVPs & RVPs and they were to foward it to everyone else. He is not currently scheduled to appear on Oprah.

Why aren't these things verified beforethey are passed around. I bet a lot of consultants signed on and bought extra RE9 sets so they could be ready for "the wave" of people who would want Arbonne products after watching Oprah. It seems kind of fishy to me. Another way to give MLM's a bad name in my opinion!

Yes, I was one of them. In turn, I have been telling folks this erroneous info. I now feel that my credibility has been damaged. Even if I go to these folks and say it was a misunderstanding, they are going to question what kind of organization I am associated with.


In addition, I have received at least 4 other pieces of erroneous information regarding how the business operates from theExec. Area Mgr.I signed up under and have not received any guidance.I signed up under someone who has only been wholesaling for her own products thus far so she brought the Area Mgr with her when I was ready to sign up. On each occasion, I verified several times what I was asking and the answers I received. It took about 1 week for me to get signed up with me intiating calls to my direct upline. To clarify, I do not think it is intentional, perhaps just poor knowledge.


I am at a crossroads as to what I am going to do. I have fallen in love with the products and so has my husband. I am a business woman and had great plans for reaching out to 6-8 industries that I network with on a regular basis. I am not trying to be negative but I do not want to help those above me make $$ when they are not helping me to move forward. It is also difficult to continue in a business relationship when I cannot trust that the info I am receiving is accurate.

I completely understand. I have a Area Manager who doesn't help but a great ENVP/RVP she is both for me.. My mom is my DM so I love that. If my mom passes my Area my mom because my AM so the other lady doesn't make much unless she goes RVP which isn't to hard since she doesn't do much. Good luck with that.

Teresa, the best thing I can say to you is to use whatever youDO get (good and bad) from your upline as a learning experience,(in your case) they areteaching you how not to treat your downline. smileys/smiley2.gif

Oh Teresa, I am sorry to hear this. Please don't let it color your experience with Arbonne badly. The bad thing about so many people getting into Arbonne is that we can get people who don't take the time to learn everything properly or to train their downlines properly. We didn't used to have these kinds of issues before our growth spurt. I guess it's another growing pain. This is why training is crucial in our business. Arbonne has definite policies & procedures set in place to help avoid all this but because some people aren't getting trained right then things go amuck. And it just keeps trickling down the line & spreading out, affecting the rest of us. I totally understand about not wanting to be in business with people you don't trust, that is hard.


You have a couple of options. You can go around your sponsor & her sponsor & just keep going up the line until you find someone that can help you. Or Arbonne has a new policy that lets you resign & then sign up in 6 months. Maybe you can find someone who is a better fit.

Thanks so much everyone! I have been so impressed with the comraderie amongst you all. It actually had some influence with me deciding to do Arbonne. I wish I could help directly affect your bottom $ somehow.


I am going to give it some thought over the weekend as to which way I will go with this. The NVP (or RVP, can't remember) is the AM's daughter so I am just not confident that I will find answers there.
