I would love to sell candles as they are my favorite thing to shop for. I was considering SBD when my consultant told me of their sudden closing. Sorry to hear that, they looked like a good company to get involved with. A friend suggested PartyLite; but I don't see where you can catalog or online sell. Just host parties. I'm rather shy when it comes to hosting parties. I wouldn't mind a couple of month. Does anyone have any suggestions on a candle company that I could host book parties?
Thank you,
Thank you,
whitelily

Patty,
I'd be happy to share information with you about the Bittersweet Candle Company. We allow online sales and even provide you with a FREE website to sell from. We have drop shipping right to your customer also. Plus you'll earn 40%!
I think that Partylite will be having websites for their consultants soon. I have a friend that sells for them and I think I remember her mentioning it when she got home from their convention. If you're heart is set on Partylite, i'd be happy to connect her with you so you can find out what the facts are on that.

Patty,
Let me know if you'd like some info on Gold Canyon Candles! I was with SBD (ggggrrr) and now I'm actually glad they closed since I found a better candle & candle company (of course, in my opinion). I think with most of the candle companies, you certainly can have online sales, online parties, and book parties.
Good luck with your decision!

Hi Patty,
If you are still looking into different companies I'd encourage you to consider Home and Garden Party as well. I'm extremely proud to represent our company for the high quality and affordable candles we offer. Our candle line is wonderful, we offer a fundraising program, and there are also other products as well. Please visit the two sites below and let me know if I can help you in any way.

Patty,
I was also going to tell you, with Partylite, you can do just strictly book orders. You don't have to do it all. You can just pass out the books and "show" it that way. Or have Open houses. That way you don't have to talk in front of a group. (I like that!)

Hi:
I just 'pm'd' you about SilverWear. We offer parrafin candles, and a brand new line of soy candles.
You can start as a consultant (for this month only) absolutely free, get a free lifetime membership, 50% discount/profit/commission, and a free sterling silver jewelry gift.
(I'll even send you a free candle sample to try).
It's a great 'family-feeling' company with great-quality products.
Let me know what you think.
Elaine

Patty,
I do not sell candles, yet, but I have a friend who sells for partylite. All I can say from observing her is it is hard. I don't know if maybe it's just her or the products or what. I don't sell for them so I am not slamming or anything like that. She is constantly trying to book parties and it's my understanding that this is the only way to sell the products. I know they have more than just candles, but I also know they are expensive, at least in my opinion. She also has lost some status or something like that because one of her legs wasn't producing, not sure what that's about. Just thought I would share. Good luck, this seems so interesting and I really want to try and make my own candles. Just hope I don't burn down the house,smileys/smiley2.gif lol.

I am a Partylite Consultant and LOVE IT! Yes you do have to work. Money just doesn't fall into your lap. Partylite has been around for over 32 years because of our quality candles. We are the 2 billion dollar leader in candle sales and so much more. All I can say is that Partylite has so much to offer its consultants that people don't even know about. Our candles are anymore expensive than others of the same quality. You get what you pay for as with anything else. This company lets you start for FREE and has so much to offer. I just has to put in my 2 cents, because I have over 3 years with them and plan to have many, many more!
