Hi Emily,
Are you getting sales from your website? I am trying to decide whether or not I should get one. I don't have alot of money to spend on something that isn't going to work. I can't afford the trial and error right now. When I start getting my calendar filled, that will be another story.

I'm not Emily, but I can try to help you out with your question. I have received orders from my website, but honestly most customers who are used to emailing me with their orders just do that, lol.
Don't believe people who say that you need a website for business. Not so. Best part of the website for me is the online catalog, but you can send people to your upline's site if need be for that, for example. Don't spend the money if your business doesn't justify it yet.

Hi Lora
Nice to meet another LPer! I love my website, but I love it more for convience than anything. I wouldn't do it if you don't have the extra money to spend but for me I love that they have to create an account so you can track your sales eaiser etc. As far as bringing a lot of traffic to it and making my business online it will never work there are too many other sites out there, but it's easy for me to do things like that.

about the website thing...
websites can be effictive if you market them properly - I remember when I was in direct sales, people would opt for the website and complain that it wasn't pulling in sales... thats not the way to work a business.
I enjoyed the convenience of the site for entering parties and such, but other than that, the "canned" company site didn't do me much good - I would agree with the poster that said you don't necessarily need it when starting out - just market, market market the products first.
Though thats not to say that if you win the lottery tomorrow, don't get the site, I'd definitley get it if I had a little extra pocket change..
