I like the idea of having Spa Parties. So far I'm torn between Arbonne, BeautiControl, Spa Parties and Sensaria.

I only know the difference between Arbonne and Beauticontrol. I have had people who have had both parties and complain that their beauticontrol products are not as good and do not last as long as Arbonne's do. I know that Arbonne's hostess rewards are one of the most generous as well. Hope that helps!

If you are interested in doing parties Arbonne has a wonderful party system. We have extensive training on it, and it’s free of course, lol. Numerous consultants have built very successful businesses using the party system. We have it down, it’s successful & it works. (if you do, lol) They also have a generous compensation plan.
They can buy $100 worth of retail products for $20 with every $250 retail products sold from their party. They can also purchase the RE9 body set ($85 retail value) if they have $150 retail products sold. Consultants are also able to offer various other incentives to their hostesses if they choose.
The wellness industry is huge right now. People want to live healthier lives. If you want to be proactive about your health then Arbonne helps with that. The company’s motto is pure, safe & beneficial. This means you do not have to worry about the ingredients they are putting in their products. That is not the case with all companies. The skin is the largest organ. What you put on it is as important to good health as what you put in your body. If a person understands that then they will know the value of Arbonne’s products.
Before I understood this & before I knew about Arbonne I had a skin care graveyard. I would go out & buy whatever product from whatever company. I had no idea if it was good for me, worked or if the products all worked well together. I have thrown out that graveyard because now I can buy everything from one company, which is Arbonne. I know the products are good for me & for my family so no label reading & I know they all work synergistically together & I know the products do what they are supposed to do. Also, every time we use our products we make money. So I can’t go wrong!

You can do a spa party with ANY of the companies. You have to love the
products you represent and they have to work for you. Then you
can tailor the spa presentation to your product line. Whether you
choose BeautiControl, Arbonne, Senseria, Mary Kay, Jafra or whatever,
you CAN do spa parties! Good luck. I suggest you try
products first from each of the companies you are intereted in and then
decide!

I think the others have given you some great advice but one thing that hasn't been mentioned is that BC began the at home spa experience more than 4 years ago. The average growth in the beauty business is about 4% right now. Since BC began the Spa Escape, we have averaged about 25% growth and are having record growth with 37% in the first quarter of 2005. I have nothing bad to say about other companies who are trying to incorporate spa but just wanted to give you some great information about our company. BeautiControl is the fastest growing beauty business on the market today.The BC Spa Escape and BC microdermabrasion have been featured in Oprah magazine and our Microdermabrasion was rated #1 by Good Housekeeping,which I believe that says alot.
I believe we have fabulous products that work well with our Spa Escape. BeautiControl maintains very high standards and our products have to do what we claim to continue to receive these high ratings and classifications in the industry we are in. I actually used our products for about 2-years before I became a consultant. I am glad you are so passionate about your company as I am mine. Much of what you mentioned about Arbonne can be said of BeautiControl as well. I think it is great to see that Arbonne is also above industry averages...so congratulations! I know that BeautiControl has also exceeded their growth percentages this year from the last. I have no question that Arbonne is a great company but they definitely do not have the market on Spa and I believe our products are phenominal as well. I guess everyones passion for differentthings is really what makes the worldgo around.

companies with great opportunities, fabulous products and women who
don't want to work 9-5 jobs anymore!
BeautiControl started the SPA escape because their image consulting was
stale and outdated. They found a niche, other companies saw the need
too and have all incorporated spa parties into their presentations.
Like I said before, ANYONE can do a spa party with their products. It
is all about relaxation, pampering and loving your product line,
whatever it is, and sharing it with other people!
When someone finds the company that works for them it is a great
feeling and you want to spread the word. That is why it's called
NETWORK marketing, direct sales etc.
Statistics are just numbers that go up, down or stay the same. What
works for one person, may not work for another. The best advise in this
case is for Ameriky to take a look at ALL the companies she
mentioned. Compare marketing plans, company philosophy, start up
costs and ongoing business costs (shipping, order turn around etc) then
try products from each one. You can't sell a product that you don't
love yourself.
That is the only way to make a good business decision. JMO

Of course, I always enjoy learning about other companies as well so I will read through other boards. That's the great thing about this website, each company has their own individual boards so if you want to know about them you can goto that board & find out. Afterall, they are the experts onthe company!
Also, congrats on finding a company you are comfortable represtenting in the skin care industry. It's a great industry to be in, as you know from experience!

Nobody said you were imposing or debating, but like Jennifer said- this is the Arbonneboard so you will read facts and stats about our company. So please don't be offended when you read our posts about our company on our board.
Ameriky, I have seen you post the same type of questions ina few of theother boards, I commend you on your perserverance and dedication to find just the right company for you to join. I hope in your search that you find just what you are looking for.

Cassandra: Thanks so much for your kind gesture. I am not offended but the response has definitely seemed more like a debate from some. I respect everyone's decision as to who they decide to do business with and I personally do not try to discuss any bad things I have heard about other companies. No company is perfect and neither are there distributors. I do however think more highly of Arbonne by the kindness you have shown.

But since the majority of us who post in this folder are Arbonne then we are going to give information about our company. That's all I was pointing out. I certainly wasn't getting into a debate about the different companies b/c I don't do that on boards. Things can get misinterpreted on websites b/c tone of voice doesn't translate.
