Just read this on the Back Office message board.......can anyone explain this further ??? I thought Associates could use on-line retail the same as COTM members ???

"A document was posted to show the breakdown of retail rebates and is available for download in the back office: http://www.scent-team.com/pdfs/RetailRebates.pdf

We did not include Associate pricing. While Associates with Web sites can sell online, money would actually be deducted from their check for some items after the surcharge fees. The only way to resolve that would be to adjust the surcharges. It's not suggested for Associates to use online retail" smileys/smiley5.gif

Associates will not get a website with their signup, however they have the option of getting a website for a monthly $9.95 fee.

The website is included in the $39.95 COTM membership price along with the products.

**edited... I am sorry I just re-read your post and I realize I didn't answer your question at all (talk about reading too fast sometimes LOL).... but I'm afraid I do not have an answer to give you. I am just giving you what I "think" is happening - because retail associates receive a lower commission on the product purchases, the commission would actually get "eaten up" with the handling charge the company imposes on the online retail sales. It may be best to call the company to verify this.Edited by: dreamakr36

Yes, unless the rebate costs change that is the case. It may only be on the soaps that you would lose money on -with candles you can still earn a commission after the rebate costs.

You can turn off the shopping online and they are directed to email you with order questions. This may also be an option.
