I have been selling Arbone for 2 months now and I am struggling with parties. Two have cancelled and now I feel like I am out of people. I do have an Open House scheduled next week, at a baby boutique. I made DM in July but I am getting very discouraged.

Hi Kelly
Try not to get discouraged. I mean wow! You are already District Manager? I've been in for 3 months and am nowhere NEAR DM. That's great! How did you make it so quickly???
Have you tried the REsults approach? That could be an option for you. I struggle with parties a bit too, but I seem to have on average 3 a month and have 3 booked for next month already. I wish I could have the 6-10 they recommend though!
What i have been doing too is a swap with other consultants in other fields. I am hosting an At Home America show, and a pampered chef show, and they in return are hosting an Arbonne show.
It does get tough at times. I have a show next Friday and there have been 6 no's so far. So i'm pretty sure that show isn't happening and i told her if it doenst, then to reschedule in September. Everyone is out of town. I think the summer months are the hardest.
Keep your chin up! I think everyone goes through lull's like this smileys/smiley17.gif
Take Care,
Michele

Parties can be tough! I was w/ Southern Living and had many parties where only three of 20 people show up. Some of it is due to the hostess not following up and some of it is just b/c people are busy. I had such a different mind set then and was just doing it for fun, Now I am with Arbonne to hopefully quit my job soon!
Have you had an open house at your house? That was huge for me w/ SLAH. I haven't done it w/ Arbonne yet b/c I sent out an email to everyone I would have invited and they have been buying online. I may do a spa party later and see how it goes.
My referral plan had worked well. Just email all of your customers and contacts offering them free products for anyone they refer who buys something.
