View Full Version : Income

I am not trying to pry into anyone's business, I am just trying to find out if it is possible to replace my full-time income (mid-20's) with a candle business.

If you have been able to replace your full-time income, how long did it take?

Thank you!

I am not qualified to vote in your poll, you see, I haven't doing home
businesses for long enough just yet (Tahitian Noni since April 2005 and
White Lily since May 2005). I would love to replace my income some day,
but in the mean time I am thrilled to have the "extra" income!

To ask how much extra I've made with my retail sales (most of my sales
are done in person) I honestly can't say. Some I reinvest, the rest I
use as needed so I dont' really keep track.

HI!

I think you can very easily replace your full time income if you put the effort into your business, but how long will vary from person to person and depend on how much effort you put into it.

My first suggestion to you would be to figure out what business excites you...what do you have a passion for....what do you believe in. That will be the key. My second suggestion is to find that business and stick with it. Once you find something that you have passion for, and want to go out and talk about and sell....you will see that customers will depend and trust you.

I wish you the best in finding something that works for you. I know it is hard. I have been through a few businesses myself trying to find the right one.
