I cannot find labels for my canning jars which I make candles in. I see them all over the place at craft shows on other people's candles. I need something that I can print myself, you know, buy the labels in sheets and then I can print the scent on them. Any ideas?

I use Avery labels for my candles. Go to any office supply store and find a size that fits your needs. There are a couple of companies that sell blank labels you can print yourself. Try doing a google search.

They have great prices - and if you email them and ask them - they will send you a sample of the labels you are interested in.

I also get label paper from Wal-Mart, Staples, Office Depot - places like those.

I have tried and used the avery labels. My problem is they don't look professional. I was under the impression people were having these things printed, you know, like the gold foil kind. I want my labels to look like the ones in the store.

Can you use the regular Avery etc.. labels on candles? Like a large one on the side of the jar? I was afraid to try because of the heat. If that is the case I am so glad to hear it!!
