How do you all go about getting in front of new people. I've pretty much exhausted everyone I know. I live in a neighborhood and would love to go around and tell everyone, but I'm afraid of getting doors slammed in my face. What do you think would be a good approach?
All advice is greatly appreciated. smileys/smiley17.gif

Are you new to the neighborhood? Why not just invite everyone to your house for an Open House to start. Ask them to RSVP. Also, make sure you put specific hours on your invitations. I did 2-4 then 7-9. This way it gave everyone 2 options to choose from. Let them know if is very casual. Just your way of introducing yourself and an INCREDIBLE new product line.
Hope this helps.

I'm curious...I've been thinking about hosting an open house for my neighbors since ourhome additionis almost done (yay!).
How did you do when you had yours? Did you call your neighbors or send invitations, or both? I would love some more information on how you did yours if you don't mind?
Thanks!

Hi everyone!
I am in the same boat! Have been pursuing the business since January, but have exhuasted my list and am having an extremely difficult time getting in front of new people and when I do getting them to hold a class. Any suggestions from those of you who have been here before would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!

Sorry Ladies I did not realize there were questions for me.
My Open House was successful. What I did was mail out flyers that invited everyone I know and sort of knew to come on over. I even handedthem out to allthe moms at preschool. I highly recommend giving times for them to come over. I did not do anything fancy. I just set up my tables of products, had catalogs everywhere. I had a raffle item with small forms for them to fill out, name, address, phone number and email address. This way I had their information so I could follow up with them (that's if they did not purchase anything). I also had flyers up with information about hosting a party and what the benefits were. I had a table set up with the Biz Opp information in case someone was interested. I also had a sign up sheet for anyone that wanted to do the Try before you buy (results approach).
Another idea is to have some kind of incentive for them to have a party. Tell them you will give them ----- if they book a party with you. At their party give them their incentive gift in front of everyone so they see that they to can get a gift for hosting a party. I buy everything with my 100/20's so it does not break the bank.
I hope this helps. If anyone has any more questions let me know
