Hi everyone,
I am new to this mesasage board but have been reading up on the Arbonne posts over the last few days - a friend and I are considering signing up for Arbonne so we are trying to do lots of research and get lots of "data points." It sounds as if there are lots of honest and nice people on this message board, so I wanted to throw a question out. It seems like the Arbonne people we are hearing of around here have promoted very quickly. While that sounds great, I have the feeling that with the way I will approach the business and my personality, that won't be happening. I will be fine with people just signing up to buy wholesale. However, I see that you do not make any comission whatsoever off of this until you are at the District level. What seems to be the average time it takes to get there? I know that I will likely end up either below or above average since that's usually the case, but I'm just looking for something realistic here. For example, someone we know signed up at the end of January and already has her Mercedes. I would assume this is rather unrealistic for most people! I'm just trying to go into this with my eyes wide open and not get disillusioned, so I would appreciate any feedback you can give based on your experience! Thank you so much!

Hi Tricia~
NOW is an incredible time to become a part of Arbonne.
You can review Arbonne's SuccessPlan at www.arbonne.com (http://www.arbonne.com) and click on Be Your Own Boss. You'll be able to see info on Benefits, Qualification Programs, Maintenance Requirements, Summary, and Definitions.
The Summary section will show you that you DO begin earning commissions as soon as you start with Arbonne with people you personally sponsor. And doubles with you become a District Manager, etc.
There are no "average times" to reach different levels recorded anywhere that I'm aware of. However, there are many people these days reaching District Manager in one month & National Vice President in less than one year. It's your business so YOU set your own pace.
If you know what you want, and you're will to do what it takes to get it, anything is possible!
If you know someone in Arbonne who already has her Mercedes, CALL HER TODAY! She'd love to help answer ALL your questions and have you on her team....no matter what speed you want to go with your business!
Best of luck toyou & your friend!

Hi Tricia,
However, I see that you do not make any comission whatsoever off of this until you are at the District level.
This part is incorrect. You do earn a commission, even if you are a wholesaler who has people signed up under you. At a consultant level, the commission is 4%. At District level, it is 8% and you even earn that on your own personal orders.
I think that in this business, credibility has a lot to do with it. Obviously, those who are in the "business of skin" or who are health care providers have a distinct advantage. People take their recommendations because they know what they're talking about! It seems that we do have a lot of those professionals in our company.
However, it all comes down to how hard you want to work. That isreally the only basis for one's success in this business. smileys/smiley1.gif

Thank you so much for the info and taking the time to reply. I must be missing something on the Arbonne site because I have tried to find the compensation plan on there and haven't yet. I looked under "Be Your Own Boss" and still didn't see anything. Maybe I'm losing my mind??? (Not much left to lose these days it seems....)
Thanks again for your input.

Tricia~
From Arbonne's home page (www.arbonne.com (http://www.arbonne.com)), click on Be Your Own Boss. You'll see on the left side SuccessPlan, click on it.
It will give you additional links underneath SuccessPlan for you to click on (Benefits, Qualification Programs, Maintenance Requirements, Summary & Definition).
It's the Summary link that gives you a chart of the % break down on each level.
You will also see on the left side Independent Consultant Compensation Plan Summary, which will show you "average" amounts earned. This is updated each quarter.
Hope this helps you find the info you need. Please let us know if you have any additional questions!

I finally found it! Thank you to all who replied smileys/smiley1.gif. I think I am getting it cleared up in my head finally - just one more quick clarification....do you get 4% on your own volume also or just what the people you sponsor generate?
Thanks again for the help!

Me again - disregard my last question - I went back on the Arbonne site and found my own answer. I figured you would earn off yourself, but something I read somewhere made me question that so I'm glad to know that you do.
Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction!
I have a product question but I guess I need to start a new topic for that.
