Hi everyone! I am going to be doing a couple of craft fairs in September. I need your help! I have never done one before! Do you have any tips you could provide and most importantly do any of you have any pictures of your craft fair set ups that I could see to get an idea of set up options???

Hmmm. well, I have not yet done a craft fair..my first will be in
October. But I have been listening to other people talk about
some things they do, so here are some ideas I will be implementing.
~Try to get a booth near the kitchen so you can have water and demo the salt scrub on everyone.
~Make your display feminine...perhaps display your items on pretty
vanity trays...some fresh flowers in a vase or strewn about may look
nice too.
~Don't stand behind your booth. Stand in front, walk a few feet
away and invite people to come see your things. You can say "I am
offering complimentary hand treatments at my booth, would you like to
try it out?"
~You can have a drawing for a prize. Use the CAP profile
cards..you may want to put a sign that the cards must be completely
filled out to enter. Or you may just want to do a drawing for
everyone that books a show, or spends $25 or more, etc.
~This months TNT call had a neat 50/50 board idea that I am modifying to use at my craft fair and at my shows.smileys/smiley32.gif
~Have a basket of some full size items and call it the Bunny
Boomerang. People can sign up to try out everything in the
basket. You drop it off to them and then come back 48 hours later
to get the items, see how they like it, and if they would like to have
a show or order.
~Since our craft fairs will be around the holidays, you could get a
mini christmas tree and put some of our samples on it as "ornanments"
and offer one to everyone who purchases. They get to select one
to take home. :)
