Okay, guys, you know I won my trip to Grand Island, New York. I had the most awesome time. My unit director is from Grand Island and her mom lives about 1 mile from the hotel we stayed at. We arrived and ate lunch in the gazebo right on Lake Niagra. Linda told us stories about how she and her friends would just jump in the river and would float with the current towards Niagra Falls. It was incredible to listen to stories about her life and to see where she grew up and so forth. Get to know more than just the person you "do business" with.
We went shopping in Canada, went shopping in a little outlet mall and got a few tops... Went to a few little shops on the island.
Tuesday night was the best night of the trip. We had a pizza party and played Catch Phrase. That was the best part of the trip! I don't think I could have laughed any harder than I did. A couple of us did funny things and will never live it down. ME included.
Thursday after we got back we had a meeting -- a branch meeting where there were TONS of people there I didn't even know and don't you know that Dar, our branch director, begins to "pick" on each and every one of us who did something silly. It was great. LOL. There were only 12 of us on the trip and that includes the 4 unit directors and our brach directors... So there were really only 7 of us who actually won the trip. The branch and unit directors were treating us to the trip. I feel honored to have been there!!
Anyway, that is my time for my Mystery Trip. I hope to make it to Hawaii. I have to do some serious selling beginning in August. Think I can?

Excellent Job!! Did you get to check out all the attractions on the Canadian side? Niagara Falls is such a fun place!

Thanks for all the encouragement everyone! We went to Niagra on the Lake. I have been to Niagra Falls before. DH and I spent the weekend there our first anniversary. We stayed at a hotel off Clifton Hill (is that what it is called, that big hill with all hte attractions?) I think it has GROWN since I was there 6 years ago.
Hawaii, here I come. :-)
