What ways do you find of approaching people and selling to people that works the best for you(parties, results approach, salons, individuals), and what do you say to people? Do you have a little speech when approaching people?
Who do you all usually approach: people you know, strangers, salons, businesses?
What levels are you all at and how is your success? Do you feel if you follow the system that it does really work for you? I'm feeling frustrated.
It feels so awkward when I approach people. I hate selling stuff.
Thanks, Alison

I'm feeling the same way. I feel that after being trained to "not re-invent
the wheel" and stay true to the system of the 3 S's (Sell, Sponsor and
Schedule) that helped so many attain success (like Dana Collins), we are
being told "don't do that anymore, we aren't going to do parties, only the
REsults approach".
I am trying to restart my business and also need advise on what everyone
is doing to move forward and grow their businesses. Is doing
presentations still the main way to grow and work, doing the REsults
approach/one-on-ones to fill in when and where presentations lack?
I'm very confused and want to stay true to a system to be duplicatable.

The REsults approach is just another method of sharing Arbonne. It's your choice to work your business how you want. If you would rather do parties, do parties! If you would rather do one-on-one, do the REsults approach! If you want to present it to salon owner- you can! It's totally YOUR choice! Always, always, always get referrals so your contact list always grows. Always, always, always share the business opportunity! Keep it simple to keep it duplicatable. Some tell everyone (3 feet rule), some tell just a few friends/family. It's your business, you set the pace, go fast or go slow.

Doing classes brings you instant income and also exposes you to new people. You have to do whatever is comfortable for you. Good Luck

I do a combination of 3 methods: one on ones with people, parties and the pup. I think the best way to do it is GET OUT OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE!!!!!
Good luck

I just want to say that I love the people on this board, you all give me so much encouragement and ideas. I'm extremely shy about talking to strangers but you all are making me want to go out and just run my mouth to everyone. lol.

To get the best results, I do parties and the results approach. Some times I use the results approach to introduce people to Arbonne, and then I get them to come to a party for more details.

Cassandra is right on, do whatever works for you. If it's one thing then stick with that. If it's a combo of things then do that.
As far as approaching people I don't know, that has been hard for me. I've really had to stretch & get out of my comfort zone b/c I see myself as shy. The more you do it the easier it is. I just try to develop a relationship with the person. I usually don't just introduce the business or the products unless it's natural. If someone asks me what I do I give them my 30 second commercial & move on in the conversation, back to them. Leave them wanting more. Then I keep dropping tid bits & get their info so I can talk to them about details later.Of course around here once they hear the word Arbonne half the time they are using it or know about it so then they are all over talking about it, lol.
I found the best thing for me was to get as much knowledge as I could. That seemed tomake me more comfortablein talking with people. So I do Arbonne University, I listen to the learn & burns & conference calls. I go to themeetings & trainings.I read books & listen to audio from people in the industry. People like Michael Clouse, Joel Wheldon, Robert Kiosaki (sp?), Shad Helmsetter, Dale Carnegie & Paul Zane Pilzer. The more you know, the higher your belief & the more natural it feels. Pretty soon you are doing it without even thinking about it. smileys/smiley1.gif

Getting out of what is "comfortable" is difficult for all of us. I have found that since I gave up my other job - I am having to make it "work and have seen a change in my own commitment level. I am at the point where I have to make money - I have been pre-judging my market (I know that for sure). Re-visit your start now work book and go over the 100 people list again. I also find that I give people too much info. Little is sometimes good - other wise they tend to get overwhelmed!!! I have also been a little naughty and told every parent at my day care director job that I am leaving to pursue a home-based biz. Everyone has been so intrigued by it they want more info. (everyone is naturally nosey). I have given out lots of info and have 3 prospects from it. Last but not least... quitting my 36,000 a year job has helped people to see I am commited!!!!
I hope it re-motivated you all - we all need help on a daily basis.
