When you have people sign up as a client on your site, how do you follow up with them. Some people register, but don't buy ~ there's obviously an interest or why bother registering? What can I do to increase the chances of that person coming back and actually making a purchase?
Then for those that do make a purchase ~ any tips on follow up for them? It's wierd, all of a sudden I have more people registering as clients and half of them are making small purchases. One recently bought the shampoo and conditioner ~ if she likes it as much as many of us do ~ hopefully she'll bea repeat customer. Or maybe she'll want to sign up as a wholesale buyer? KWIM? I just want to keep these online clients.

from what I understand, when they sign up as a client, they are given a client ID number, and anytime they use that number, it automatically gets linked to you, even if she goes to the main arbonne site, you still will get credit for it. if someone else understands it differently, please correct me. smileys/smiley9.gif
I'm sure that you could go to webstats and look her up under the My Clients section, try that and see if it gives you any info.

You are correct Cassandra. The client id number is linked to your
id number so that you get the credit any time they order using that id
number.

You just need to love on them some way. Whatever way you have of contacting them is how I would contact them. I'd treat them the same as the other customers. Send them specials when you can or little thank you cards/gifts. WHatever.
That is fabulous that you are having people sign up on your site. Are you advertising places? How are you getting them to your page?

Jennifer ~ I wish I knew ~ LOL. I haven't really done anything recently to promote my site. All I have is the address in my sig that I can think of. I'm not complaining though. You were the one who addressed my question best. I'm not concerned about losing the customers to someone else. I'm trying to figure out the best way to keep them coming back.

lol, Stacie! Don't you love it when that happens!?! It's like a little surprise of abundance. I know you work hard on your business so it's nice to have people come to you. :)
Maybe you can figure out a way to offer specials for your online clients. Like if they order a certain amount online you'll send them a gift. And if you are wanting WB then offer a special to those who sign up as wholesale buyers.
I'm sure that anything you do for them will be a nice surprise since I doubt that most online companies go that extra mile & do the things suggested. Great customer service will keep them coming back!
