There are companies where you can buy traffic, 10,000 hits, 100,000 hits, whatever. Has anyone done this and what was your experience?

I have bought traffic from sites that made similar offers. They
either did not deliver the traffic promised or the visitors were
tricked by the company (they want to see a music download site and this
company sends them to your vending company site). The visitors do
not have any interest in your products, which means almost no
conversion. I would not buy advertising from a company like this.

Most of them don't deliver real hits, which is why it's so cheap. Many
do popunders, which are blocked or considered annoying. If you're
selling something, most find that they get zero sales from this kind of
traffic.

Best way to buy traffic is pay per click ads through legit companies like Google.

Ohhh, that is not nice to trick ppl to going to a site smileys/smiley7.gif So they do not offer "quality" or "real" hits. I wonder if all of these companies are like this or if there are some good companiesthey give "good" hits.

Run a +Google Adwords campaign

But, choose only adsense for search

Adsense for content is the biggest fraud Google ever committed with advertisors money, it can be cheated on anytime.

yeah, there are alot of companies that do that stuff.

over the years though the following delivers good results.

now your website is the one that does the selling not the list.

i don't know if he still does it, but you can have the targeted prospects leave opinions about your site as well.

overall, i would say if you're going to spend money, do it through here.

I've bought that kind of traffic before - I don't recommend it. I didn't get any sales from it so it was a complete waste of money.

If you buy leads, basically you get what you pay for.

For example if you pay a penny a lead, you could probably buy 1 million leads and not get one sale.

But if you bought quality leads (more expensive) you should do ok.

It is a waste and you can get in trouble too especially if via email.

Look into buying a solo ad in newsletter targeted at your audience.

And do some research for the keywords you want if you do go the google adwords route.

I would advise you never to buy traffic, you will get bad or no results at all. If you have never used google adwords, I would say they are the best if you know what you are doing. If you have never used them you can vist www.hostway.com (http://www.hostway.com)they are google profesionals that manage your campaign for you at a resonable price and get realy good results.

Hi ya,

Google adwords is a great tool if you know how to use it. It can burn a hole in your pocket if you dont use it properly though. I recommend Perry Marshall's Definitive Guide to Google Adwords. Perry is the best Google Adwords instructor... Period. If you want to learn Google Adwords, learn it from Perry Marshall. Perry provides 3 power-packed ways to learn Google Adwords in his Definitive Guide package: a) a digital PDF course, b) a digital PDF course + audio MP3 trainings or c) a digital PDF course + audio MP3 trainings + live teleconference coaching. Choose the method of learning that works best for you and order the Definitive Guide to Google Adwords now.

Interesting. I will check out hostway and see if I want to use them. I have just started using Google adwords so that service might benefit me. GladI didn't buy traffic, nobody has had good results!! I thought someone might have had good results, but everyone seems to have the same opinion.

i have bought ""leads"" half the time they just send the same people to your site over and over again so your hits go up but they are not genuine unique vistors so it is a scam. However sometimes it can work out though but for the money i have wasted i should of bought 1000 cheese burgers from maca's and gave them away free when someone gave me their email address..lol

i have a link below my name which offers some free advice on generating free traffic to your site. have a look if you like =o)

Never "buy traffic". You want targetted traffic. These companies DO NOT send you targetted traffic. Would you rather one million visits to your website with 1 or 2 sales - or would you rather 100 visitors with 50 sales? Targetted traffic makes the sale. If they're not interested in what you have to offer ... what's the sense? None

Also ... keep in mind ... HITS ARE WORTHLESS You don't want HITS You want DAILY UNIQUE VISITORS

When inquiring information about a websites stats ... you want to know what their daily unique visitors are ... not hits.
