I have a request to have all the guests soak their feet. That is fine, but should I only take bath size towels, to put under the tubs? Then, they can probably use that towel to wipe their feet. Does anyone use washclothes also? I do not want to take too much, but I do not want to not have everything I need. Please help?! I have not been told/showed how to do a spa with the foot tubs, I am just going to play with ideas the night before.

Thanks for all your ideas & info!

I used to do that. Now, I just have the hostess soak her feet. Bookings went way up when I stopped having everyone soak and enjoy a neckwrap. I will do everyone if it is a special request or I am introducing BeautiControl to my new friends or neighbors.

I bought hand towels when a KMart was going out of business. I have them under the tubs. When I remove the tub, they can dry their feet with that towel. (As long as they didn't get it too wet) I also bought wash clothes.

What I did, was take a 2 gallon bag and put the wash cloth, towel, bath soak (in sample size bag) and socks inside each tub. That way, it was already for them.

One of the other reasons I stopped doing the everyone foot soak is because it looks like you are moving in!

To cut down on the amount you have to carry, ask your hostess to provide the wash clothes and towels. This will work if the group is small and you don't have to be a laundry service too.

Hope that helps!

Thanks for the tip, but what did you use the washcloth for?

I attended a spa, and she had everyone soak their feet, and we had a washcloth, but I cannot remember what we did with it.

I also thought about doing foot scrubs for everyguest, and I would bring in warm washclothes, but I would still need bigger towels to put down on hostess's floor for protection. I liked the idea of choice of scrub, lotion, baggies, and warm socks, but I am worried about how difficult that might be to pull off. I would still do lips, manicure, eye pads, tea mask also, wouldn't I?

I do foot tubs, and I have full size towels that I bring in with the tubs. I just tri-fold the towels and lay them inside each tub. I think the washcloths would be used for the same thing as the facial towels - to wipe off lip apeel, green tea, etc.

Does that help? smileys/smiley1.gif

Talk to the hostess and have her guests bring their OWN footbath and towel. You don't have to do anything.

Almost everyone has a footbath nowadays, if they don't you could bring an extra.

Also, bring a power strip or ask if the hostess has one, they can plug them all in if they are the electrical kind.

Hope this helps......smileys/smiley36.gif

just out of curiousity, the very first two spas I attended in 2004 we
had foot tubs, and then the spa when I recruited at they didn't do foot
tubs, I asked why and I was told "we don't do that anymore".....so my
point is, was this the company's decision or just my director's
decision? Just wondering, as a guest I loved the foot tubs more,
but as a consultant I don't think I'd like all the fuss.....

It is just up to the consultant if they want to do it or not.

I have booked 6 spa escapes this month, and asked eachhostess if she would like the foot soak or the spa footie n baggy treatment..and all of them chose the foot soak. They said its more relaxing and they will feel like they'reat a spa retreat. So I would just ask the hostess which she prefers...I found lil foot tubs, that aren't very big, but just the right size for them to soak their feet. That way i'm not hauling around big tubs..ALSO right after you do their show of hands instant manicure, you can hand THEM their tub and have them fill it so they get the right tempature for their feet.
