View Full Version : Spa, Skincare & Beauti

Dora gave me the idea (Hi Dora!), to do our spas in 3 segments. First introduce people to Spa products only, schedule 2nd class with them on Skin Care & and then 3rd the makeup or Beauti. This way, if you get them to the spa, they will have so much fun and love our products, then they will want to come back to the 2nd and 3rd classes to find out more what else we have. Not only that, we will be able to focus on them spending more since we will basically have them attending 3 times, and we all know that if we try to intro spa, skincare & makeup at our initial spa escape, that they can't buy everything and I wonder if trying to promote all items at once that it doesn't overwhelm them.

I really want to focus on getting people started on our skin care sets, as this is what will fatten our paydays and create repeat business.

I have not tried this yet, I strictly would follow the flip cards on doing our spa, but I do want ya'll opinion on this. Do you feel this would work better? Would we make more money in the long run off one client? Do you think we would sell more skin care sets this way? How many people at your spas if you are doing it the flip card way is actually purchasing the skin care sets?

I am also going to post this on the WAHM group, so if you answer me here, you don't have to answer me there...

Thanks for your help!

Andrea,

I have found that what I use the most (thus know about the most) is
what sells the most. I sell a lot of the skincare because I use it
daily and can give my own personal testimonial. I really try to demo
everything or at least read about it, but I don't yet have much
knowledge on many of the regeneration products for example.

At the last spa I did on Monday, I basically followed the flipcards
starting w/ SOH and extreme repair, lip apeel, lid &lash bath,
eyepads, relaxation. Then I talked about the skincare and M.R.P. system

I line up the products in order of use (they did that at BeautiU which
was a really great visual to help remember the steps. My clients
commented on how helpful it was to remember too.)

After that, I had them complete a skincare analysis card (under sales
aids on BeautiNet) This was really helpful because it really customized
their skincare based on how they answered the survey.

I always do the relaxation at all the spas because it is so unique and
popular. I always talk about the skincare because that is what is going
to make the makeup look great. I haven't done a spa yet with the
makeup, but I have one coming up on June 19. Luckily at our last unit
meeting they did a demonstration on how to do this.

Anyway, I try to customize the spa the way the hostess wants it. Your
idea is an interesting one. I am anxious to hear what kind of results
you have.

Hope that helped some!

Hi Andrea,

This 3 phase approach works well for me. My sales are high, the bookings are just as high and I have repeated opportunities to develope "relationships" with these women/men (mostly women)

By the time I have worked with them and gotten them introduced to all that we have - they are pretty much hooked for life as a client or ready to submit an agreement.

Phase 1 = learning to care for your spirit and soul
Phase 2 = learning to care for your skin, get rid of or repair what you don't like and protect/preserve what you do
Phase 3 = Beauti - glamour, special needs, tips, color analysis, lessons

It's working well for me and when I schedule the phase 2 - the people that are there are ALWAYS ones that I know are interested because they've already had a taste and came only because they were interested.

I've been doing it since February.

Dora,

After you've introduced your clients to the first phase, how do you go about doing the second phase? Does the current hostess usually book for the skin care phase, or does someone else generally do that and invite the same people or different people? It sounds really interesting to try doing things this way...obviously it is working so that's great!

I would just want to make sure I have all the details straight before I try it. Any information you have would be helpful...do you have a hostess letter?

Thanks!
Shawn
