I have really been thinking seriously about joining a candle company so I've been reading lots of posts and asking questions. I think I have it boiled down to Sweet Berry and White Lily Candles. I was wondering if some of you lovely ladies wouldn't mind sharing some of your experiences with either of these 2 companies from a consultant or a customers point of view. To be honest I have never burned candles from either company but I love candles and the way some posts have describe the scents has made me want to.

Dana's got you covered for the basic info so I will give you my experiences.

I've had nothing but good experiences with White Lily. The candles are
marvelous with a great selection of sizes, designs and of course
fragrances. The body products that I've tried are wonderful and
naturally there are enough fragrance selections to choose for them as
well. I'm fairly new with WLC (as of May) and have purchased quite a
bit only to have them bought out mostly from co-workers (I have my
packages shipped to my work) LOL!

I try to keep a little stash for myself, and making an attempt to get
some to have on part of a flea market table I'm wanting to set up this
fall (we have a really nice flea market here that most of it consists
of new products that aren't typically found in stores here). So far my
stash shrinks as soon as I get it to grow LOL! I don't mind
though, a sale is a sale!

I do love this business and you will love it as well!

Hi Kimberely,

I am not familiar with the SB products but I can tell you, as a customer what I think of White Lily. My WL rep, Terry has always been helpful and is always willing to answer my questions about the products and the business (I'm thinking of joining in the future).

I personally love the candles and bath/body productsI have purchased. I also purchased quite a few WL products for my neighbor and she was impressed with the products as well. I hosted an online party for Terry and was impressed with the program. At first I was concerned about the shipping time but now understand that WL products are made as they are ordered, so that is the reason and to me it was worth the wait.

All of the WLreps seem to respect one another and are always willing to help one another as well...at least that has been my experience.

I'm sure SB is great too but I don't have any personal experiences with them other than I know Cheryl, who posted above is with SB and I know she is a great leader and a professional business woman.

Hope my input helps!

Hi I did join Sweet Berry Designs, and I got my kit just a few days ago. I love the scents!! They are awesome. I have not smelled a WL candle, but I bet they smell great too! So I think you might want to think about what you want in a biz. Both are fairly new, WL I think opened in Jan (is that right?) SBD as a company (it was called Sweet Berry Fields)has been around for 3 years, but just launched the new rep program this month.
With SBD you start at35% Commission and you can earn up to 60% Commission. You can earn up to 8% commission on your team sales.
Ithink w/ WL you earn25% commission on your sales and up to 6% commission on your team sales. (is that right?)
Like I said I bet both companies have great products, you just need to get all the biz details.

Hi Kimberley,

Cheryl has responded to your post regarding SB, but I wanted to give you my opinion on SBD, too. http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley1.gif I think alot of your decision will be based on what each respective company offers, as well as their products. I decided to join SBD on a whim, actually, as I had never experienced their products, but was VERY impressed with their opportunity.

I feel it offers something for everyone:

Online ordering, dropshipping to customers, for those who prefer to sell via online/online parties.

Company sponsored hostess program for those of us who will be pursuing home/catalog parties.

Great starting commission of 35%!! FREE shipping for orders over $45!!

The products are SUPERIOR!! When I received my starter kit, I was soooo impressed. The jar candles are double wicked for even burning and maximum scent throw.....and this is the first candle I've experienced with ABSOLUTELY NO SOOT!!!! This one jar candle filled the whole first floor and the hallway going upstairs with scent......everything I'm looking for in a candle.

I also used the Aloe Body Wash and Body Lotion yesterday, too. Very nicely scented, nice lathering, and the lotion is like silk on your skin....really. http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley36.gif

SBD is a very supportive company, too! Daily communication from our COO, LeighAnna, and our team has a website setup and a Yahoo group, as well. Chery and I would love to have you on our team!! http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley4.gif
