I LOVE the peppermint ice cream you cna get at Braums. Itis the stuff with the little bits of green and red peppermints in it. Also, it actually helped me with my heartburn during my last pregnancy...it sounds weird but it really worked!

OMG, peppermint is MY all time favorite. Usually it's only available around Christmastime which is probably a good thing.

I love Ben & Jerry's Chunky Monkey and we have a new ice cream shop in our area called Cold Stone Creamery. They have a flavor of sweet cream ice cream mixed with pecans, hot fudge, caramel, and brownies and you can get it in a waffle cup or cone. YUM! It is so good.smileys/smiley20.gif

My all time favorite is plain old chocolate. But I also love chocolate w/ peanut butter through it. As good as a peanut butter cup. Cold STone Creamery does that super well/.

I like any ice cream with chunks - nuts, chocolate, fruit, toffee, etc. I like to "FEEL" my ice cream!


Chocolate cherry, rocky road, chocolate mint chip, etc.


I think I'm going to phone hubby's cell and ask him to bring some home!

You know, I used to think that my favorite included some kind of chocolate with chocolate chunks in it, but I moved to Cinicnnati for awhile and if anyone knows anything about Cincinnati, they know that the best ice cream is Grater's. Of all of their flavors, I prefer the signature one, called black raspberry chocolate chunk: black raspberry ice cream with very large dark chocolate pieces.... Y-U-M!

Since I moved to Baltimore, I don't have Grater's readily available, so I would have to say my temporarily new favorite is Ben and Jerry's LIGHT Cherry Garcia.... I didn't try it until recently and boy is it gooooood!

I LOVE cookie dough ice cream! I even made a batch of cookie dough last week (but I didn't add the eggs or baking soda) and I put chuncks in vanilla ice cream! It was absolute HEAVEN!!

My favorite ice cream is butter pecan. One brand that is good is BLUE BUNNY. BLUE BUNNY can be found in most major retail stores - at least in the midwest.smileys/smiley17.gif

Bjmart - I totally agree with you! Blue Bunny brand is really good and they even have a spin off of my favorite (moose tracks). They call theirs bunny tracks but it's just as good as the 'real' thing. I'm in Michigan and shop at a super Wal-Mart and can get it:-)

I absolutely go weak in the knees for two scoops of cookies (dark oreos) and cream on a cone! An icecream must be enjoyed on a cone LOL! If I feel like mixing it up I get one scoop of cookies and creme and one scoop of double chocolate chip!

I don't know if it's too late to add my favorite, but it's a popsicle brand you get in Brasil named Kibom. They have chocolate, pineapple and coconut and they are sold on the beach alot of times. Makes my mouth water just thinking of it.smileys/smiley4.gif smileys/smiley20.gif

My favorite would have to be pumpkin patch ice cream. It has little chunks of pumpkin pie in it. Its absolutely delicious! I haven't seen it in years though! I don't even remember who makes it. I know they use to put it out around the holidays though.

French Vanilla, Dairy Queen soft serve. Doesn't seem to matter. But vanilla with crushed fortune cookies in it. Maybe some chocolate or butterscotch topping ... or Marshmallo .... some chopped almonds are nice

When I was a kid, my very favorite was Lemon Custard from Baskin Robbins. They have it once in a great while but I don't go there much anymore.

Nowadays, I prefer going to Dairy Queen for a Hazelnut MooLatte, especially now cause we've been in the 90's here in Utah a lot.

I rarely meet an ice cream I don't like. I usually go for plain ole vanilla and smother it in something...chocolate, caramel, oreos, etc. But, when I was pregnant, I got on a mint oreo blizzard kick and it hasn't gone away. smileys/smiley9.gif

I'm a sucker for Ice cream, but plain vanilla wont do. It has to have somthing in it. For example, oreo cookie ice cream, or duble fudge brownie Ice cream.

I live in Japan and we only have one Cold Stone's here, but I love the strawberry shortcake there. We do have some yummy Haagen Dazs ice cream here that we only have here in Japan. We have a coconut/praline parfait they sell in the convenience stores. They are a little pricy(about US$4) but worth every bite! I also love the chocolate ice cream at Godiva.

I just came here from the Diet Divas forum LOL. So I'm just um speaking um metaphorically...LOL...

I like Chapman's Tiger Tail ice cream. It's orange and licorice flavors swirled together.

Chapman's may just be a Canadian company. When I first tried licorice ice cream I was prepared for a "yuck" experience, but I love it.

Without a doubt my fave is Haagen Daz RUM RAISIN! Be careful because for some reason it melts faster than most other flavors. Try putting it in a waffle cone and you'll think you've died and gone to heaven smileys/smiley2.gif.

If a can't get to a custard stand, then I love Dove with Buttered Pecans! Yummmm. My favorite used to be Ben and Jerry's Chunky Monkey but then they started putting too many walnuts in it. One problem with those pint sizes it is too easy to eat the whole thing at once LOL smileys/smiley36.gif

I've been having ice cream every day for 2 weeks now...forcing me to work out more. Anyway, today a Haagen Dazs coconut crispy ice cream sandwich came out today. It was pure heaven!

My local shop has just started selling this honeycomb hash flavoured icecream - made with real double cream! Wow!....pure indulgence. I even wrote off to the company thanking them! (although might not feel the same way if I keep eating tubs of the stuff and start storing those calories!)

I don't think your weird to be eating icecream when you do. It is much better too eat icecream when your cold as you body temp more or less equalizes; also when its too hot, your body temp is too hot to digest the icecream fast enough, which makes you feel yuckky anyway.

Reading about all those flavors makes me want to go get some ice cream right now. . . I like all flavors but my favorites are with nuts: butter pecan, pistachio, butter almond etc. There's an ice cream parlor here that makes really good ice cream, Maggie Moo's; their Udderly Cream is just divine!


I also like green tea or ginger ice cream when in Chinatown.
