Howdy Ya'll!
I frequent this site from time to time. However, today, I need to ask a favor from YOU ALL! I live in the Central FL area, & last year's Hurricane season tore us up!!! And that is putting it "lightly". NOW, here it is, the beginning of July, & we have our 4th named storm ALREADY this hurricane season. This has made history...the earliest EVER recorded of the 4th named storm this early in the season.
As you all may know by now...Hurricane Dennis is now a Category 4...of which will cause MAJOR damage to anyting within it's path. I realize that the forecast does not take Hurricane Dennis into the Central part of FL...but neither did they predict Hurricane Charley to go the path that it went last year! That was a shock for everyone! Especially for those of us living here inland. We always thought that we were "safe" here. BUT NO...we aren't! Needless to say, we had 3 Major Hurricane's hit us last yr., just weeks apart from each other. Now, we are dealing with Hurricane Dennis. You never know until the last minute where these hurricane's will actually head. I just pray that it will NOT effect us here in Central FL! Or anywhere for that matter!!!
We are still trying to rebuild from last yr's hurricane damage.
Please keep us all here in FL in your prayers & thoughts.

I'm worried too, my son is in Port St. Lucie and although PSL is West
coast he often travels with his team to areas like Clearwater, Lakeland
and right now I think they are in Fort Myers. I am hoping it just
passes you all by with no damage!

Found out son is home in Port St. Lucie but leaving for Clearwater and
Lakeland on Monday. Hopefully it will all be over by then. My thoughts
are with all of you.

It looks like we are going to be spared here in Central FL. I hate to say that too early in the game...considering anything is bound to happen...especially at the last minute.
Still keeping a close eye on Dennis. Won't keep my eye off him until he is completely GONE!

No CBShannon, Thankfully we didn't get hit. There is just way too much activity going on out there in the Gulf & the Atlantic. This is unbelieveable!
NOT ready for Hurricane Season! That's for sure.
