I have had three friends within the year join a certain party plan company and they have turned from being good friends of mine who I couldn't wait to talk to, to very persistant business builders who only call to push their biz on me! I am getting so aggravated!!! Now, my best friend of many, many years has joined. smileys/smiley19.gif Now when she calls me, I don't answer the phone because the last two times I did, it was all about how I should join this biz and on and on.. not once did she ask how I was or how my family was. I've told her I'm not interested, that I just started up my own biz, and she doesn't listen. AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! Anyone else had this happen? What do you do? It bugs me that this biz asks their business builders to drive their friends and family nuts!smileys/smiley7.gif

Next time answer the phone, when she brings it up, say to her "I am soo happy you found your passion. However, I already found mine. I love what I do and am not interested in changing. I know you haven't meant to and are just excited, but I've felt like you have been a little pushy lately and I'd love for us to be able to share ideas, not businesses.
Then jokingly: By the way, if you ever get bored, let me know. You'd be great at TOH."

Another good response could be...
"I'll tell you what, you sign under me with my
company and I'll sign under you."
Make sure you know she won't sign under you before you actually say it though. LOL:)

I agree with Deb...just tell her outright. Let her know that her excitement has started to come off as pushy and you don't want this to get in the way of your friendship.
Good luck!

Thank you everyone! I guess I'll just have to get brave and tell her. She even called my sister this past weekend, and my sister just laughed and said "Yeah right!" I do like the idea of, you sign up under me and I'll sign up under you. I might actually try that one!! smileys/smiley2.gif Thanks again!!!

If your friends are your friends than they will understand and accept your choice!smileys/smiley2.gif
