I just started my scentsy business in October and did fairly will in November and December. I have also sold for another business and did not have much luck with it because it is so saturated in my area. But I feel that Scentsy offers a unique product that is easier to sale. I guess what I would like to know from those of you that have been in it for a while please share some of the ways that you have made your business successful?

Where I am by no means an expert...I usually donate items to our local events and have also gotten into a few vendor shows. I think alot is about exposure. Good luck out there. I know there are some gals on here whom I am sure can give you more tips. Good luck.

There are lots of opportunities coming up to contact your customers and reconnect with those who ordered this fall. We have the discontinued list posted in our workstations and the 10% off sale starting next month. Also bricks will be going away, so it's great to let customers know that if they really love a certain scent to stock up.
I keep lots of mini tester sets and when someone calls me with their order, I tell them to take the bag and collect some orders and get theirs for free & 1/2 price. Then in March we start the new catalog! There will be lots of Spring craft shows coming up so try to get into an event in your area and use it to get bookings.
Everyone is getting tired of the long winter months and are ready for some spring scents!

I'm not an expert, either. But, I can tell you some things that have worked for me. I always have an open house in my home when the new catalog comes out. Invite everyone you know and make it a girls night out. I think it is also a good idea to advertise on social media like Facebook. Make your own business page and ask your friends to "like" the page. Then, you can post about the sales, discontinued items, WOTM and SOTM.

For me, my business is doing well because of the personal relationships I have with my customers. Make them feel special and go the extra mile to take care of them. Be sure they know, you are not just trying to sell them something, you care.

It will take time, so work hard and be patient. Plus, remember the beginning of a new year can be a slow time for all of us. Just hang in there!

Hi, I sent you a message and I agree with everyone's suggestions. I'm pretty new myself, and I'm learning a lot of great ideas from others. Also take advantage of the training on the training station, there's a lot great ideas there as well. One thing I'm learning is about branding yourself, and let everyone know what you are doing in different ways without "selling". Just express how much you love the products. Also I've had success with the scent/warmer of the month. Giving out samples to everyone and previous customers, gives you something new to talk about every month.

I'd highly recommend putting together a school/church/gym fundraiser. It provides and effective way to get your name out in the area and when you deliver your products, make sure you have them all labeled. Repeat customers are the best!
